Actually it was more like 3 hours I think. There was something wrong with my connection, it repeatably crashed and/or timed out. Each attempt took about half an hour and because I had other stuff to do I couldn't stand over it and watch so alot of the time it looked like it was working then would crash when I'd walked off and I'm come back later to find it had just been stuck on time out for the past however-long-I'd-bee-away.

But it's up now and it works so...

If anyone's got some free time they wanna waste, I could do with a collage of all the bonus items that I could stick on the first post, right now it's just a few shots of pre alpha and so might put a few people off.
 
Hired some flagellants.... they doesn't look like the "littles sisters" at all :sad: They had those ugly butcher knives and then some kind of bandage wrapped around their heads. Sure, bandage around their heads could be cool but this one looked silly :razz: And I could upgrade them to mercenary swordsmen hehe, but that's no worry now. Maybe you could make some face textures for the flagellants? If you have time, that is. I have some ideas here in my head (and trying to draw them too.)
When you upgrade them, their body will have more and more bloody whip marks (and not only on their back), and they also get better weapon. Other than that, they all look the same. The face textures may be stuff like some symbol or text carved in their forehead, or bandaged heads but more like... over their face instead.
The weapons should not be knives like they have now, they doesnt fit them. But the sickles do. So does the pitchfork, axe, scythe, mace, morning star, and even that hammer? These are the weapons they can get, and depening on their level :razz: The name will always be the same though - flagellant.

The witch finder's crossbow does, atleast for me, a BOOM sound and then comes smoke (like a musket.) It can also do this three times, like semi-automatic, before it got to be reloaded. What is this? :razz:


I noticed those helmets with a skull on :razz: The one with fur on looks the best. That "wooden+straw" armor looks more like fur too (from distance atleast) That helmet and that armor acutally fit together... looked kinda tribal, maybe something to do with vaegir religion (he just needed a staff of some kind, and a white beard.)

No, they don't look like little sisters...because I hated the idea. I included female troops though as Lilyeti requested, through the crossbowmen/women.

The whole idea is that they have low stat weapons and armour, but high stats for iron flesh and running ability. So they'd be more effective as a collective mass. Sadly you can only hire them in fives, which I would have looked into but didn't have time. They have both head sacks and bandages, its the computer who decides which one not me.

I didn't make them multi upgradable (flagellant warrior, flagellant elite... etc) because I could only replace pre-existing troops. I assumed nobody would miss the caravan guards, so you have a choice of keeping them or swordsmen who have lower stats I think but better weapons/armour.

The witch finder's crossbow does make a boom sound, it's adapted from the seige bow made my taleworlds, not me. It should shoot ten in a row before reloading, because reloading is the crossbows biggest let down. I didn't copy LIlyeti's stats because my internet crashed when I needed to read them, so I used my own settings for it.

I'm not making changes, this is me out for now. I need to dettach myself from this project because I cant spare it any more time.

If you dont like something, change it. Items editor, troop editor...that's all it takes.

The ones I got only had butcher knives and bandages. Looked awkward and non-scary. :razz: The should have those pitchforks, spike clubs etc, and of course that scary sack. Coz when I saw the face of them, they looked happy and not like self-whipping christian fanaticals.

I dont know how to use nor where to get troop editor and items editor.

I remember placing two head sacks the troop inventory (with it set to having helmets as a must), so two thirds of the time it should be a head sack.

Look at it less like a break, and more like a communication less coma.

 
Do you think you will pop in sometimes and/or even come back to kick some more modding ass? This mod is an alpha, not even a beta, and I really hope for a full mod release in the future no matter how far away it is :smile: (ok, not maybe years, but...)

I might drop by every now and then... just to see if there's any messages. If a few of the team or some other people contact me with some new stuff I might make another update.

There's no reason why anyone can't do the stuff i've done but, should the project be completed or not, I hope I made my mark.

well i mean when u watch it first time its scary especialy where i use to live geuss a freakin house near some woods in the middle of no where but town was like closer i mean it was scary but atleast we didnt have a cellar lol
 
When Evild Dead came out in the 80's, it was a horror movie.

Now, when people are used to movies like Saw, The Ring, The Grudge etc, they find Evil Dead comical. I still think Ash kicks ass!

Are you running the correct module? The effects should be immediately apparent once you start playing.
 
Installed files go to C:\Program (or Program files)\Mount&Blade\Modules\Calradia Death and Disease

After you installed it, you start up Mount&Blade and that window saying like Play Game, Configure, Updates and all that show up. There is a bar that is saying Native. You can click on it and scroll down and you will find Calradia Death and Disease in the same list.
 
Very good. Reminds me of the first part of Neverwinter Nights. Now if you could have bodies piles up in the streets, that would be great. And a couple of moaning noises? :wink:

That was planned to be in, but this is an alpha and he put these features on ice since he got school to attend to.

^ again, what he said. You could try googling it perhaps? or PM Zodiac94 ? I'd quite like it to be on the mb repository (I planned to myself but after the hassle from mediafire with the update I'm reluctant).

I don't remember "promising"... me and Napancux were working on them, we got all the textures and models done, it was all set... but then they messed up ingame. Napancux ran out of free time to work on it and yeah... we had to leave it out.
