okay, according to the poll, my mod will not work on 1/10 people's computers. but if ghostlance is the only person getting the problem, and he's only getting an error, then this mod is fully functional! and personally I haven't had any crashes in a while, so that's good. well, my next release (adds 20 new mercenary units) will be sometime tomorrow or the day after. see you then!

I have a problem to when i launch the mod the loading bar wont go further and i get a error sign
 
I got the error with commonres/new_textures but I've downloaded the realistic steel texture mod to see if that fixed it and it did, But I don't see anything new. Everything seems to still be the same unless I'm missing something. I don't see the new troops that you were talking about unless I misread somewhere.

So I think the problem ghostlance has is that he doesn't have the realistic steel textures mod? You probably need to add that along your mod somewhere that the RST mod needs to be installed if that's what is in it. Is there any other mod that you incorporated into your own that we might need to get this mod actually working?
 
Well I always wanted an option to become a king,Since players are saying to me that you cant become king in native because
your an outsider and a faction will never take an outsider for their king,But since he was there 40-50 years why cant my character become king? ^^.
anyways this is just why it should be because storyboard, And if you add it you add features of diplomatic options,Which will make gameplay amazingly AWSOME!

Well sorry if you had to waste your time on reading this, My point is that you need to add option to become a king+More diplomatic options,And if it can be automated taxes,that you don't have to see always the message
"You Have Gained XXX money from taxes blah blah blah", you can set option if u want to see it or not... by the way if you'll make what i said, I will translate the module  to Hebrew and make some videos, And The point is i am supporting you big time ^^

... it's Calradia roughly fifty years later. your old character is long since deceased, and in my mod you are a new adventurer in Calradia. but thanks anyways, your suggestoins are highly appreaciated.

@arbus: can you tell me what the error says?
@nanny: yes, this requires RST. I was going to update it to say that, but I've only just got back. I'll update it soon.

so, Ghostlance and Arbus, download the realistic steel textures mod by MAXHARDMAN. I'll post a link on the first page in a second...

EDIT: nanny, there are no other mods you should need to install to have this work, but it seems that sometimes my changes have not applied. I don't know what is causing this problem, but I should hopefully have it fixed soon.
 
Oh okay because I was really look foward to playing this and I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't working for me  :sad:. I hope you figure it out soon! Because I've tried every other mod so far and looking for new ones to play and this one sounds interesting. Goodluck :grin:
 
I'll put the source codes up when I'm done with this mod, so you can play it then. unless, of course, I'll have already modded this for 1.0.

I did. or at least I think I did. I'll check again. it's possible it got reset. sorry, the date should be 1304, I'll have that changed in my next release.
 
changed some more troops. here are the new Kings of Calradia:
King Nori The Bear: the new Nordic King. His name was given to him when he first joined the Nordic Army. while his age has been eating away at him, he is still skilled with his trusty sword and is more than a match for most soldiers.

King Harland: the new Swadian king. as a boy, he gained favor with King Harlaus for his genius Tactical mind. after King Harlaus died, having no sons to carry on his name, he put Harland on the throne.

King Graveth: the King of the Rhodoks. king Graveth sports his Father's name with pride. when his father was killed by a looter, he was immediately given the throne. he is possibly not ready for it, but so far he has led the Rhodoks onto a much better path.

Baheshtur Khan: the son of one of the best khergit warriors in history, Baheshtur has reformed the khergits from a rabble of nomads with bows to a fully functioning army. his great eye for a good general and for a weakness in his enemies, he is possibly one of the best Khans in history.

King Garra: Garra was one of the finest soldiers to come from the Vaegirs. nobody knows exactly why he was named king, as he and King Ratforth (the former king, as Yaroglek had died in battle with King Harlaus) had never actually met in their lifetimes. either way, Garra has opened up the trade routes to the easterners, and now they have prominent mercenaries and items in Calradia.


Now, that's just a rough draft. the stories hardly matter, but the names I want changed. I also changed the companion's names and on some of them their weapons/armor. but here are some people you might see that you will recognize:

Borcha: an odd man, he is wealthy enough to live comfortably, but instead chooses to live out in the forest. he often visits the taverns of Calradia, and sometimes mutters a few words about his commander coming back to get him. he is old, but a great warrior. he is semi crazed, and after his time, but there are rumours of him fighting off bandits from wandering travellers- no small feat for an old man. any efforts by the kingdoms to recruit him have as of yet been unsuccessful, but it is possible somebody who looks familiar may be able to get through to him.

Rolf: the magnificent House of Rolf has seemingly lived out the years. the son of a fine warrior, he is readily recruitable and wears his own purchased armor.

well, the next release should be out soon, so hold on tight.
 
this mod will be asleep until the module system comes out for 1.0, so don't expect any updates for .960.
 
Please take out the scytheman and replace it with something like a poleaxe.
 
Actually I quite like the scythemen. although the "deathbringers" have got to go. I'm also thinking up new names for the "Arcani"

Anyways, I'm getting more stuff about the mod not working, but hopefully I'll get this sorted out by my 1.0 release.
