I cant do it right now because I am busy a lot this week but someone needs to make a quite detailed graphical or gameplay analise between the siege videos in 2016 and the sergeant/captain mode videos in 2017.

Maybe taleworlds can make a blog about what were they doing between E3 2016 and E3 2017.

I'll do the comparison = slightly better animations in 2017, 2016 has no physics on hair/clothing. That's it.

..... What's more, putting the game in the Steam Store has itself caused a buzz and will put the game back in peoples' minds. Simply putting the game in the Store sends out the message that this game is coming, as does the publishing of system requirements.

Are u working there? No.
Game will release in the first 5 months of 2017.

They will not make a Steam page if they re not almost ready to launch,  no at least in this case,  the game already have 4+ years of development

Why are you lumping my posts in with a statement that the Steam page means they are almost ready to launch? I never said or thought that. You were moaning that people would not buy the game because they weren't being spoonfed weekly info about the game, and I refuted that; it hasn't been proven either way and won't be until release.

Me in 2016: It's not going to come out. You're wasting your time.
Everyone else in 2016: Shoo, troll! YES IT WILL! YES IT WILL!!!
*doesn't come out in 2016*
Me in 2017: It's really not going to come out, people. Might as well stick to Warband.
Everyone else in 2017: BAN HIM!!!
*doesn't come out in 2017*
Me in a few months: Still not coming out...
Everyone else in a few months: You shut the hell up. It'll be this year. I'm sure of it.
*still won't be out by this time 2018*
He has a point too.

Does he really? What would that be? Because his post that you quoted is misleading; notice how he doesn't bother with actual quotes, and prefers to claim everyone was at odds with his opinion and hated him for it? The whole problem people had with Kagos is he made ridiculous statements about Bannerlord just being a pretence to get more sales for Warband, not a game actually in development (and that is ridiculous, it doesn't make economic sense), not the fact that he predicted the game wouldn't be coming out in any given year. He was/is a troll, though he sometimes makes an effort to disguise it. Yet he makes out in that post that he was annoying people purely for making predictions that the game wasn't coming out and that "everyone" was saying it would do. In fact I've seen very, very few people making confident predictions of Bannerlord coming out in a particular year in the last two years, and I read the forum a lot.

Just ackowledge the truth:

You are the one who saying "Think of good things. Let's be reasonable now" and the others %95 of the Mount and Blade players.

Whatever. It doesn't matter who is the one saying something about Bannerlords lack of release, your reaction will always be like that. Keep it up.

Given his misrepresentation of your post and seeing how he ignores your points... I would almost say he is trolling.

I'm not trolling but it seems you two really are blind. Here is the full post:

Whenever people say this I am dubious; it sounds like a desperate attempt to convince the developer it is in their interests to release more regular info when it is really only in the interest of a desperate fan. If Bannerlord is losing fans, how come the siege videos released this year have had more views than any other Bannerlord video? How come the Gamescom 2016 vid had about 400,000 views after a few days (a lot of immediate interest) and has grown to 1,495,310 views as of this morning, just two months later?

Bannerlord has a higher profile than Warband or M&B 1 did, and it is a big hit with PC Gamer. Once they get on the final road to release and increase their marketing output people will hear about it. It's not a first time game from an unknown company that isn't going to stay in people's minds without frequent news. What's more, putting the game in the Steam Store has itself caused a buzz and will put the game back in peoples' minds. Simply putting the game in the Store sends out the message that this game is coming, as does the publishing of system requirements.

And here my "misrepresentation":

Yes, I was moaning about lack of info in those days but I also said that "the game will not come out in 2017 either." It seems I was right. And that was the point I'm trying to say but you two misunderstood the point. That's enogh to say I think. The unchangeable truth is: we are still waiting and the game won't come in this year.

Except neither Dan nor I have claimed the game would come out in 2017 or any other specific time... (because that would be pointless speculation) so you are fighting phantoms.

Since 2012, phantoms are really all we've had to go on.

Making a gameplay video is way more time consuming than you'd think.
Yes, but there are tonnes of youtubers/twitchers that are hungryly waiting to make a bannerlord video. TW can just give raw gameplay video to one of them and s/he would turn that raw video into masterpiece for free  :iamamoron:

The only reason I even know about Bannerlord's existence is because I stumbled across it in the Steam Store. So I like that they put it on there.
I also like the weekly blogs and I think the amount of information that is being released is good (though some of the 'interviews' are a little thin on actual substance, perhaps.)
Overall, no complaints. The game looks great and the development team are communicating well.

The most destructive thing for me and many others is a console port release for PC... the delays and silence scares me so much. if they sacrifice PC version for console version I will be very disappointed.

You're not the only one. «The Day After Tomorrow» will look like a breeze compared to the ****storm that is comming if that's the reason of the delay.

A console port is not a bad thing. Bannerlord is developed for PC first and always has been. The ****storm would come if they announced PC is a port from consoles which is not going to happen. More popularity for bannerlord means more cash which means more expansions. I seriously doubt they would want a global release on all consoles+pc at the same time. PC will come first, for that I am sure.

No, it's not. More money means more development, more content, and perhaps another game (which shouldn't take another six years folks, let's be real). However, if they are delaying a PC release so that they can release on both platforms at the same time... well, clearly they haven't seen how badly that goes for other companies who have pulled that stunt over the years!

Er, you saying it is in "development hell" doesn't make it true. And would you care to show us when and precisely what you were reprimanded for?
