Because they're losing players; because players losing their interest for Bannerlord, whatever you say.
Whenever people say this I am dubious; it sounds like a desperate attempt to convince the developer it is in their interests to release more regular info when it is really only in the interest of a desperate fan. If Bannerlord is
losing fans, how come the siege videos released this year have had more views than any other Bannerlord video? How come the Gamescom 2016 vid had about 400,000 views after a few days (a lot of immediate interest) and has grown to 1,495,310 views as of this morning, just two months later?
Bannerlord has a higher profile than Warband or M&B 1 did, and it is a big hit with PC Gamer. Once they get on the final road to release and increase their marketing output people
will hear about it. It's not a first time game from an unknown company that isn't going to stay in people's minds without frequent news. What's more, putting the game in the Steam Store has itself caused a buzz and will put the game back in peoples' minds.
Simply putting the game in the Store sends out the message that this game is coming, as does the publishing of system requirements.
