Come on guys lets kick some world butt, just PM me or post here if your interested.=]

Ps: King Robert of Veluca

I can't believe there aren't any Americans interested in this. Maybe I can get on the team by default.

of course man thats what it looks like for now lol
ANYHOO
I will be holding a face to face meeting in game on sunday at 8pm central, at TKoV_US

As of now i guess not, I have posted on all of there threads and only got a couple of guys.
Luckily most of my guys want to participate, I would just like too see other players into this as well for it is a Nations Cup not Clans Cup.

That's a shame, it would be good to see people from all around the world represented in the Nation's Cup. I figured the US wouldn't have any problems filling a team though.

I do think Arch3r, the organiser of the tournament, stated that he preferred that the nation's captains are not clan leaders.

Exactly which is why I am trying to get everyone in with us, there are great players within the all clans and I would love to see them volunteer their skill with there weapon as well as their skill in team work.

I'm not sure I follow, that seems quite irrelevant. I said the organiser of the Nations Cup would prefer if a country would not use a clan leader as the Cup Team's captain. You seem to be both a clan leader and the captain of the team, while Arch3r specifically stated that he would like the two to stay strictly separated.

Well if I do not step up to start the US team then how will, Id gladly leave it up to some one else but as of now there is no one.

I've done this international competition stuff before in another game and it wasn't a very satisfying event. Too much tedium swapping around on EU & US servers to give each team an "even chance" at having decent pings. EU players would have more fun leaving us out of the mess.

My thoughts at first. Still, we've got the largest talent pool of all the countries (except maybe China). We also wouldn't be the only ones with ping issues, as Australia has put together a team as well.

OK I will start you off.

Team USA:

ChaosDwarf
Orion
McBeverage

You just need 7 more names now and you have a team. Other teams have already started practicing together, you guys might want to get a wiggle on. Good luck!

Oh and I hope team UK does some naughty things to you.

Yeah, we played against an AU team as well. We tried playing on an EU server but they didn't want to play vs our ~200 pings with their ~300 pings & connection time outs. After a couple hours of arguing and compromising, we ended up playing on an AU server and a west coast server.

The game I played at least allowed for tactics to come into play because it was a game made for and balanced around CTF. Battle mode will rely largely on pure ping. It's a pain and I think it would leave anyone that is competitive minded feeling unsatisfied. I'd rather just do something fun with my time.

I agree with that. If a European or American team has to fight the Oceanic team, the match could just as well be determined by flipping a coin .
