You have my map (-s in the future)!

About changes:
NO to any gameplay changes (troops, weapons, ect) Eventually fix to longbow which is too slow  (IMO bug)
YES to some pure aesthetics changes (like victory cheers, fog, weather, time of the day, ect.)

No to longbow "fix" for me.
Fog, time and weather will hinder your ability to shoot longer distances. Nay from me. Cheering is not a NO, but I would still rather see only the new maps.
I wont discuss about longbow here  (but still IMO it's bug)

Buildings and trees can also prevent long distance shooting - so weather, fog and time can be threaten as part of the map. This way you just have more maps - village at night, village with fog, village at morning with light fog and rain, ect.

Nobody want to die for cheers, but they wouldn't harm...

I don't know how it works. If the weather, fog, time of day is map specific, then it is OK. But if it would change the native maps, it is a no-no for me.

As I said before, it should be a map pack, without any other added content.

I'm still confused.  Until they make an autodownloader or change the way maps have to be scripted into the game.
A community map pack would only serve to contribute to the problem of a fractured community because it again would need to be made as a mod.
I mean if it was like most of other games where new maps are simply drag and drop it would be fine.  But that isn't how it works.  Not server side anyway.
I'll quite happily contribute to it but there are some bugs with the native code and things that had to be addressed in module scripts to make spawning work properly.
