Calling all modellers, coders out there! LIST YOUR WORK FOR PROPER CITATION!

To all modellers, coders, texturers, and generally every modder,

I am being very serious here. I know many people on these forums worked hard for their mods. Yet, some modders take someone else's stuff for their own and re-releasing it, without proper approval and citation. We all understand it feels bad to have work taken without permission, and most of the time, people don't even know the work was done by you. So now is the chance.
Why is this important? To be honest, 90% of the modders who "stole" your work does not know who created the stuff, nor do they know who to contact for permission.
Now what we should do now, is not flaming them, but to build a comprehensive list together, so as to note who owned these items, who should be asked for permission, and who should be cited. This is for the convenience for every modder who are PASSIONATE ABOUT THEIR WORK.
Therefore, any work, no matter models, codes that are your property, claim them here. I will try my best to put together the replies into a list. For example,

The Last Days (led by Ancientwanker)                                          <not necessarily true for the helms part>
-8 helms by AncientWanker (pm link)
[or if you want to be more specific,]
  -2 orc helms by ...

Codes:
-battle formations code by Mirathei (pm link)

Most good modders keep a record of their work with their change logs. Be sure to check them out if you're afraid of forgetting something.

I will post this on the Chinese forums as well (not being racist, but most of the spearheads are pointing directly at the Chinese). So if you want your work to be known and appreciated, STATE them here.

I would lock the thread if this isn't going anywhere, or that people think this idea does not work. But we'll see.

Yours sincerely,
me.

When has anyone plaigerized someone elses work and either got permission after flaming by other people, or suffered the consequenses.  Besides, most of the stuff is released as packs for the masses, such as maw's horse pack, and the whole script exchange thread.

LostLEGION, I (and probably more people) do appreciate your effort, but I think this is both unnecessary and unpractical.

It's unnecessary because whenever you download a mod there's usually all the required information in a readme file as well as in the mod thread, which address is usually both in the readme file and at the repository. There's no way someone cannot know where to ask for permission or who to give credits to.

It's unpractical because some mods like TLD have hundreds of custom items, which would make for a VERY LONG list. I very much doubt someone would bother to read it.
