Call to Arms: The Wiki!

Hi there guys!

Now that PoP 2.0 has been officially released, it's time that I got back to work making the Wiki a complete guide to the mod. In order to do this, I'm going to need a couple of volunteers to help me create articles for all the new content that has been released. Basically the current stuff we need is:


# A head image for the wiki
# Faction specific images (like the D'Shar one)
# Unit information - and lots of it
# Heroes (AKA Companions)
# Lords
# Add towns/cities/castles.
# Take photos of items/equipment

Just in case you haven't seen the wiki yet, it is here: http://popmod.wetpaint.com/

Ideally i'd like to have three or four people who's job it is to create all the content. Since ideally I want a page for every troop, town, lord and companion, it's going to be a lot of work. So if you have a free hour every now and then, let me know, and i'll show you what you can do.

Personally, I think that the dev team has done far too much work as it is (exept for me, I spent most of the time watching South Park), so I'm not going to ask any of them to help. I think they all need a couple of days sleep for all the time they missed, so if you think you can help, please let me know!

I know I'm pretty new around here but I'd be more than happy to help out with what ever I can.

I'll brush up on the lore and do some drafts for the various topics you've requested and hopefully you'll like what I've done and it can be added.

I am testing the companion interaction now, but about the wiki: we need to either have one for PoP 1.21, and one for PoP 2.0+, or we need a separate entry for both in most areas, due to the changes throughout.

For example, Heroes: half of them aren't even the same, and some of the original crew have been altered.  Their likes and dislikes may also be different, so we don't want someone to look at the wrong chart for advice.

IMO there is no point on having a wiki for  both, I made the wiki for 2.0 and when it's finished all the information should be relevant  to 2.0. I doubt there will be  a huge number of people who want to play 1.21 over 2.0.
The only reference for the origional PoP I will leave in will be the credits for the origional development team. They deserve the credit
