How about they make a Call of Duty: Resistance?
It would focus on the resistance movements in The world against the Axis (and sometimes soviet) powers. It would start off with the Greeks pitted against the Germans (I know that it wasn't necessarily a resistance rather than a war, but the Germans definitely dominated the area more-so than the Greeks). This campaign would be like a learner campaign, and would just involve generally biggish style battles in hilly areas where the goals are pretty strait forward. Then you would go into China with some of their fights against the Japanese, this would be very goal oriented, with having specific tasks of blowing up trains, bridges, etc. Then it would go into Yugoslavia and fight against the Nazis in a sort of sneaking around type of campaign similar to the British Campaigns in Call of Duty 1 and 2, and in a few levels you would fight Soviets too. This campaign would work like a mix of the first two. And then it would culminate in the Warsaw Uprising, which would be street to street fighting, with slightly general goals like taking an area and then holding it against odds etc. This campaign would work like a lot of the American levels in COD 3.
And no, compared to the other countries in WWII, the French did VERY little actual fighting. They tended to go for getting supply drops, distributing said supplies, and blowing up a bridge or a train every once in a while, along with distributing propaganda. Also the Winter war was an full war, not a resistance, and really All of the other nations at the time except the Eastern European Nations really tended to sit back and take it from the Nazis. However the Eastern European nations tended to simply rebel by just blowing up supply lines and aiding Soviet forces. The only one of those resistances that really sticks out is the Polish resistance. But you guys can go read some books on that.
