Suggestion: Changing it so first to 5 or 7 rounds wins a map.

Personally I think it's a problem with the community. I'm glad to see a new tournament and people trying to fix the issue, but the apathy and "**** it, we didn't really want to win anyway, it's just a game" mentality leaves only ~2-3 top tier clans with the motivation to scrim at a solid pace, followed by a lot of ambivalent nancies bringing up the rear.

This.  It really kind of baffles me.  It's been a long time since I had fun POM stomping.  Scrims are where the fun's at, but it seems like most players/clans would rather rape pubbers than take 2 minutes to get 5 guys together.  Imo, fighting guys that know how to manually block is infinitely more entertaining than going 22-3 on POM.  That being said, I really hope that this format provides a bit of spur to our collective juices.  I don't play often, but when I do, I want to play matches.

Nah, I'm going on holiday today, and coming back the 30th of july, so I wouldn't be able to gather a team without postponing the start of this tournament.
