The pimp maps? If those are the maps you are referring to... I wouldn't be interested in that tournament and would much rather start a different one.

On what map exactly is cav 'utterly useless' that could even remotely call itself Random Plains?

You seem to be confusing plains with "flat plains" Some steppes are even considered plains.

Besided... what's wrong with random mountains anyways? As Dawg said, try the new.... it would be new. Unless he would like to retract those words.

You guys suck at pissing contests. I am not amused at these childish antics. Take off your *****-mittens and have at it, or be sensible.

A quick-fix would be disallowing voluntary plains rerolls. That would address the issue of one team picking both maps in a swap system. A more long-term and potentially beneficial fix would be the custom plains maps which offer variety, balance, and elimination of the rerolling hassle.

Deciding between the two is a matter of community preparedness (progression of the plains map pack) and eagerness to start up another tournament. If we really want to jump back into it quickly and the map pack isn't ready, we need something to address the current issues. If we're willing to wait or if the map pack progresses rapidly, then we're in good shape.
