Buying the game

I just played the trial mode of the game and loved it, and I want to buy it. But I'm not 18 or older. I've asked my parents and they agreed to pay. But they don't trust the site or think a hacker might see the credit card number and the code. They say that for example, when they buy my school books, the site says I have 100euros to pay (I'm from Europe) and it gives a number/reference that you insert or use in your bank account and then you pay the money. LOL I hope you are understanding me.
My parents told me they won't buy it if it isn't by those references, or if they don't trust the site enough.

So what I want is if that is possible, if not, I need something that proves me it's safe to pay via credit card. I've thought of Paypal but I don't really know how it works.

that site has TRUSTe and everything to make sure you don't get jacked

Nothing bad ever happened to anyone using eSellerate and that TRUSTe? Because I really need to be sure or I won't get anything lol.

Mt account's still good. PayPal is reliable, though I need to say that no system of fiscal transfer is safe from hackers or thieves. However, I suspect PayPal is safer then your average supermarket.

I bought the game 2-3 years ago from this site and there were no problems.
I bought it for $12

Its also going to be released in stores in about a month. You could just wait until then if the online payment is to much of a risk for yourself.

Hiya I feel yer pain

But being 28 and also being into programming and lots of IT related stuff well your parents I guess are just wary of the web and at the end of the day , no credit card transaction on the web is 100% safe. I just purchased the game from this site and if people were losing money from their cards Im sure it would be plastered everywhere and if this were the case the game would have not sold near as much as it has done.

The web is full off identity thieves amongst other scammers and your parents probably have a general idea what kids get up to on the web so they probably believe it or not are just trying to look out for you

It is a great game BTW, my suggestion would be get your parents to send a mail to whoever handles payment and ask what they need to ask, nothing wrong with that and with the way things are in general its understandable.

I bought the game though and havent had any hassle but to be honest I haven't went into detail on this sites payment security, its just a decent hacker will tear through any security they want. I think its just about being as safe as possible for what you are doing is the best we can hope for.

I really hope you manage to get it  all sorted out and order a copy!
