Unlike the horse training post, I like this idea. I would like to add however that equiping some armor on some horses shoud slow them down, a lot.

In totally in favour of the idea of separating horse from armour, though I'm not sure if it's too much to add to the game.. so it's not something I feel strongly about.

However, armour should work the same for horses as for people -- slows you down by a certain amount dependant on the horse's training and strength.

I like the idea. And armor should stay if the horse dies. I wouldn't want to buy new armor for each horse.

by the way horse armor is called barding. that is if any one cares. but i think its a good idea. it would add some exellent realism to the game.
