Bus driver hadoukens woman with an uppercut.

Choices are filled with consequences; a fact that parents often neglect to teach their kid. An additional problem is that moral behavior is taught by example though parental role-models. If I love my kid and he reaches for a hot boiling water kettle I'd prefer to give him a painful smack rather than wait until the hot water falls all over him. If kids think they can act like ****s in the world without consequence then hopefully an uppercut/punch here or there will reinforce the contrary notion. Problem is that in most cases its already to late to reinforce any good behavior.

In my country there is problem, and that problem is transport.

"That's a ******** female"

"I don't care"

**** yes, my man. I hate it when some females feel as if they are obligated to verbally and maybe even physically assault men because they are surrounded by a magic shield.
Bam.

You won the thread, imo.

Sums up my thoughts on this quite nicely.

Aside from : That uppercut was complete baws.

To the moon Alice! One of these days!

I'm referencing a TV show called The Honeymooners, I'm actually twice as old as I admit to being. Apparently.

Why did she use the N-word when she's black too?
Because ****ing retarded people find it acceptable if you're black, and seeing as it's America, ****ing retarded people are the majority.

I would imagine he lost his job right? Not a very intelligent way to handle what I presume was a disruptive passenger.

If you pay attention she, from what I can see, so I presume, lashes out at the driver as he is driving.

Could've resulted in a crash, deaths, injuries, etc.

She had it coming.

Ah okay. If she struck him then perhaps he might have some basis to argue that he was justified in hitting her. Certainly she stood there verbally abusing and distracting him for a good long while.

Still, I tend to think there was a fair bit of ego and stupidity involved in how he reacted.

She certainly would've been in a position to press assault charges on him, and I do believe that a judge would regard there to be enough prima facie to hear such a case. For the simple reason that, at the moment he struck her, she was not posing a direct threat to his well-being or the safety of the bus, I can see no justification for him punching her.

Even assuming she had struck him just as the video began, and given all the other obnoxious behavior she exhibited during the video, he should have simply phoned for a cop & a pickup bus to fetch his passengers, pulled over and asked everyone to get out of his bus.

Our legal system isn't broken enough for that. All the witnesses and the footage would prove that the woman was endangering the safety of everyone else. Even if she was "technically" not doing it at the time he punched her, any jury would definitely decide in favor of the man.

Ah, not only a legal scholar but a prophet!

He decided not to press charges against the girl. All of the witnesses backed him up.

Law can't expect people to act level headed when they are getting abused like that. Old timer played it right.

No, you don't punish people yourself; you are not the cop, judge or the jury. If she was indeed endangering the safety of people driver should have stopped the bus and get a cop to deal with her. She wasn't a danger to anyone other than the driver's manliness once the bus stopped/when he punched her.
