Instead of making several threads all asking different questions I decided it might be better to make one thread and just ask my questions about Warband all at once and see if I cant get some answered. Everyone else feel free to ask your own questions and answer ones you have seen posted in this topic. I think its a good way to share insight on Warband and see what we know and dont know yet.
1. On the quest where you have to destroy a bandit hideout, how does one go about finding it? The lord said to follow the bandit type but they just seem to run around and sometimes I will find a hideout but it just seems random. I am running out of time on these quests.
2. I played around with the code and found at least some of the tweaks in the original still work in warband (specifically the ones to change how many prisoners you can hold per point in PM and how fast food is consumed.) Can anyone else confirm which tweaks still work or dont work in warband?
3. What factors go into determining if a lord will marry your character (obviously your character being a woman is one of those but other than that it seems random)?
4. Is it the general consensus now that Cavalry are not as effective as they used to be? I have abandoned using a polearm on horseback and found a good amount of success using a two-hander but I want to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
5. Is it just me or are tournaments now a lot harder to win. It used to be I could make around 4000 denars easily by betting on myself at tournaments but now I have to work for my money.
