Building and travel times

The building times seem to take for ever. I do realize that a month or more for a mill is more realistic than say 15 days or so, but playing a month in the game can take many hours. For example in Byrtenwalda (sp?) the times seem to be more fit for gameplay.

Also, is there any way to somehow travel to one of your castles, cities, villages faster...or instantly? I´ve been rewarded a city on the complete other side of the map and every time I wish to visit...well you can imagine.

Increase your or your companions engineering skill to shorten build times, use cheats to teleport (we wont code a feature like that, because it simply is a cheat) or use ctrl+space to fast forward time.

Where exactly can I find these cheats?

They are the native game cheats, documented across the forum. You need to turn them on in the startup configuration menu. Teleport works with ctrl+click on the map.
