Bugged Lord - Can't Destroy Faction

My problem is that there's a bugged Kingdom of Nords lord, Jarl Rafarch. He's the last Nord unit on the map, and they have no towns or cities. The problem is that Rafarch is not actually on the map. He's supposedly near Nelag Castle, and has been for weeks (if I stand there, I get the "enemy patrols spotted near Nelag Castle" message, but he's not there and doesn't move). So I'm pretty sure his location bugged out somehow.

Unfortunately, this means the Kingdom of Nords can't be destroyed. Is there any way I can fix this? I tried to use a hex editor to modify the saved game, but unfortunately I don't know enough to figure out what to change. I'm open to any other ideas as well.

Having the same problem, did you ever figure this out?  I've waited for around a year of in-game time, and searched the entire map with the ctrl-t cheat to find the last vestiges of the Nord kingdom, but to no avail....

just a thought as I haven't had this bug yet but have you guys tried sending someone to recruit him? If he joins it might work. Not sure though but I'd like to know myself in case this ever happens to me.

Same problem, but in Fire & Sword : the Lord is actually *inside* the "Lord's Hall", and refuses to be converted.

The message "Enemy spotted near..." is because he seems to do a "micro-exit" that I can't catch on the map, and therefore cannot engage him in combat.

Very frustrating.
