[BUG] Throwing weapons are hard to stun

I was just running around the DM server spamming throwing axes at all the lancers. This nekked guy attacked me with a voulge and like a good axe spammer I switched my axes to melee mode to engage him in a duel.

What I noticed is that he couldn't seem to stun me at all, if he did it was a very little amount. I then bought a one handed axe (weighs 1.5) and tested it against another 2hander, the stun affect was certainly noticeable.

I think throwing weapons weight (5.0) is used to calculate the stun factor, which means that you can use throwing axes as a hand axe that weighs more than a great axe. It doesn't noticeably stun other people though, as stun is based on damage as well (I think).

This may just be bull**** as I couldn't get anyone to stop killing me long enough to test for sure.
 
Ah yes, because the current system uses weight. The weight of a stack of throwing weapons is used instead of their individual weight.

I'm not sure if weight is adjusted depending on how many you have left, but if it's not I'd like it to be. There's no way an empty javelin bag could weigh 5 kg/lb/whatever unit the game uses.

So I'd like to see throwing weapon stack weight adjusted real-time as you throw them. Another advantage then is that if you're all out of throwing weapons, you aren't as slow as somebody who still has all of theirs. So you can throw your last couple of weapons rather than dropping them to lose the weight.

So maybe you could separate the weight on stacks into 2 values: Individual weight and Total weight.

Individual weight for Javelins would be something like 0.8 or 1.0, and Total weight would be amount of javelins in stack * individual weight, so a stack of 5 javelins would weigh 4.0 (or 5.0).

sounds good-  how about adding the weight of thrown weapons onto people you hit (including their shields till they drop em),  would be nice to have some Jav tactics comming into play,  see a guy with a tough shield-  lob plenty of javs into it, making him either A. drop it  or B. be very very clumsy- making him easier to kill.
