I made the following changes, numbers are those you see in the troop editor or item editor:
Troops with arrows but without bow:
76 trp_nord_trained_footman - 171 Arrows removed
77 trp_nord_warrior - 171 Arrows removed
78 trp_nord_veteran - 171 Arrows removed
79 trp_nord_champion - 171 Arrows removed
This is a leftover from Native where nord infantry also has bows possible, it resulted in no errors.

Mounted troops with unusable weapons:
146 trp_sod_ade_knight - 420 War_Axe removed
160 trp_sod_vil_knight - 595 Two_Handed_Battle_Axe removed
212 trp_sod_ade_knight1 - 420 War_Axe removed
380 trp_knight_3_18 - 420 War_Axe replaced with 431 Two_Handed_Axe

Name changes:
149 trp_sod_vil_regular - Villianese_Regular_Infantry
154 trp_sod_vil_elite_longbowman - Villianese_Elite_Longbowman

I left Power Draw as it is, a lack of Horse Archery makes them incompetent horse archers while a lack of Power Draw only makes them weaker ones.
 
Found a small bug in v4 alpha, the Lords you get to accompany totally refuse to join in any siegeing you start, they do how ever join in when in when you attack a lord r when ur attacked by a lord and theyr close.

How ever the regiments dont seem to have that problem, they do join in on the sieges everytime.

Found something else but not sure its considered a bug, as you could prob see it happening out from ur scripting, after you get a castle the Peasants from the villages that are not yours also upgrade to Peasant* like the peasants from your villages, instead of upgrading to merc footmen like they do before you get a castle or a town.

Also, I havnt gotten a single troop using the garrisonig option yet.

As to peasan'ts it's not a bug. As to garrisoning are You sure that you have barracks or practice range build? If yes You get soldiers weekly. If it still doesn't work report that please.
 
Yeah got every single upgrade on the castle im watching, ill check again more closely.
 
Hymmm... Well then I must look at code... But first I will dress new troops. God! It's so time consuming...

As to peasan'ts it's not a bug.

Does it mean that you are not able to recruit native troops anymore once you own your own kingdom?
I thought that peasants from your fiefs upgrade to your old kingdom troops, while those from the villages you don't own upgraded to normal native troops.
 
That's correct. The reason behind this is that to train specific kind of troops you must have backup. When you are kingdom's wassal all people recognize You as a Caladrian. You can use all Kingdom's facilities, nobles of the land support you etc. But when You, foreiginer, alien to this land decide to conquer it You no longer have this support. That's why You must train Your own troops. And while you were a powerfull man, noble of your kingdom you know military doctrine of your people. Also new lords come from Your land. They have your motherland troops. In the future they will also be equiped in your motherland specific equipement.
 
well you can still get the mercs trough Townmans that you hire in inns, and only way you can get the other troops is by joining one of the factions anyways.

Btw also remebered another bug I came across pretty nasty one, some of my first villages became white and neutral, think it was caused cause I tried to give them to the knights before they actually crossed over from neutral, how ever did the same with castles and towns but there it didnt seem to make them neutral.
Also somehow the villages keep resetting and becoming mine again, not entirely sure, but seems to happen when I change who controls them.

Update: Well Returned to my castle, which I know I turned on ''Start Garrison Infantry and Ranged'' after being away on a crusade for 10-15 game days.. posibly even more, how ever the garrison was still at 38 which was also the number of men it was at when I left it about 10-15 days ago. so pretty sure theres a problem somewhere there.
 
I already sent you a message, but i'll say it again. When you access the local prices in a town, sometimes it will say "buy spice and sell it at xxxxxxx for 100 gold" but that town had no spice!
 
Hi, so far so good on upgrading troops except it won't allow me to upgrade my Antarian scouts even though I have a stable.

Also, what does the Blacksmith do- new weapons?

Regarding your Antarian scouts, just to be sure, you have the experienced version (Antarian scout*), right?

As for the blacksmith, you can see what it and all the other buildings do in here (New Buildings Thread).

Yep they have the * and I forgot to mention they don't have horses even as just 'Scout".

Maybe I'm missing it but I didn't see Blacksmith listed in that thread
 
i'm not sure if this is a bug but when the invaders set their diplomacy to neutral to me, I was able to join them.

I thought scouts were a form of infantry, and if I remember, you can't upgrade scouts any more.

nevermind i just checked... they upgrade to calvary
 
I guess something got corrupted in my file somehow as even Antarian Calvary units that I've gotten from prisoners have no mounts. If no one else has this problem it must be on my end but I'm too invested in my current game to start over  :lol:
 
But what version are You playing? Alpha 2 patch? And if yes, did you start new game affter patching?


EDIT: I checked, indeed I forgot to add horses to them, sorry and thanks for report!
 
Ah damn, didn't see the patch  :mrgreen:

No, I've been playing version4/alpha1 I believe, so pretty much disregard everything I've said :oops:
