I have Win Vista and it has happened, many times, including crashes when reinforcements appear and random crashes on map.

Same **** on XP

Another short list of bugs:

1. Saw the unrecognized token message again while just wandering around not doing anything

2. Just now experienced crash while accessing Strategic map.  Not even a CTD a full on restart of my computer was required.  Will try to recreate and edit this post with results. (first time I accessed the map in this version [didnt have this problem in 4.1])

3. This one might not be a bug per se, but... on some scenes, only some, I experience a ridiculous amount of slowdown (2-5 fps tops) that I did not experience in 4.1.  Well, I stuck it out and guess what.  A soon as someone (who isn't me or damaged by me) starts taking damage all slowdown disappears and suddenly I have a normal frame rate again.  No one's died yet, it speeds back up right after the first blows are delivered between my army and the enemy.  Again, only a handful of outdoor battles.  Seems strange to me.

I seem to remember talk about the new morale tweaks slowing down computers... could that be it?

Haven't had any save game crashes yet, but I'm making back up saves just in case one gets corrupted.


Update: Can't seem to recreate number 2.  Followed all the same steps I did before; create save, select edicts, access strategic map...no crash.  I guess that's a good thing.  Just doesn't help tell me what caused it!

It won't get corrupted. You will just automatically load previous save, so no worries there.

Not necessarily.  Just yesterday (in 4.1) I eventually reached a point that I could not save.  Sometimes that clears on its own after some gametime, but this did not.  Usually I save and exit, then reload from the last saved game.  This time, after save and exit, the save game itself had disappeared completely.  250 game days all gone.  I had another savegame that I then started (19 game days).  I didn't do anything with it, but just saved and exited.  This one too disappeared.  All my savegames gone in the space of 2 minutes. 

I'm not sure if this will happen in 4.5, but be aware that it is a possibility.

Crashed from reinforcements(windows is trying to find a solution to fix this error) with antarian army day 5 in a battle with 100 forest bandits.

Well i sorted out the crashes and blue screens but as one of my missions for the Black Army i had to check out a village. So i went there and chose to fight off the attacker that were attacking them. i clicked on the button/link for it and i started getting blue screens for it again. Slightly annoyed... well i say slightly... anyways if anyone knows how to help just gimme a buz.

Unfortunately it looks like most of these crash bugs could just be caused by M&B overloading... but if it's not happening on vonmistont's machine then it may not be that.
I've used various graphics mods (not at the moment though, so they're not the problem) that have crashed the game even though my machine should be capable of coping with any modern game (4GB RAM, 1GB Dedicated Graphics and Quad Core processor).
I'm getting a message telling me that the program has requested to close in an 'unusual' way (or something like that) less than a minute into a battle.

Im not sure, i scanned for viruses but that came up with nothing, i changed the game options, still no result. ummm... i reinstalled the mod... hmmm was that a result? Ill be back in a minute. just gonna go check.

Bluescreens occurs because of hardware or driver errors, not(rarely) faulty mods

I'm getting a bug with a lord I ordered to follow me.  He just stopped with his mercenaries near Tismirr, and no matter what I tell him to do, he says "I'm sorry, it's not possible for me to do that."  He's been there for weeks now, and nothing I do will get him to budge.

Yep, ive had it with no other mod/game/pice of software. Also no reslut from reinstalling.

re-installed it aswell over here and still crashing at bits =/

Sometimes the black army gives me 70 men instead of 150, happend twice. Alot of money/work just flushed down the toilet!
Dont know if its already been reported?

The slavers guild is not anywhere, as in I cant find them, and you can hire guild troops in taverns! Like I hired some elephant guards and some black army assualters, which isn't right. Honestly, this mod has way too many bugs for a release.

I believe that it was intended to be able to hire Mercs from Taverns. Also remember that this is still a BETA, that means not full release so bugs are to be expected.

By playing open beta versions and reporting various bugs, you can help develop fully functional mod.

When i get the bsod i get an .sys specific error message. So its something to do with python... but i have no idea what.

No, it was supposed to have other mercs hired from the taverns, like the Knights of Ashkolon, etc. But the guild troops are supposed to be guild-exclusive <My mistake. And again, way too many bugs. I realize that it is a beta, but this version has more bugs than the last beat 4.5, and it just kind of seems like it was released in a hurry. I think the team should not have rushed to release it, and maybe taken another week just to sort out these issues. Which, I think the reason they released it so fast, was because all of the people *****ing for a release. Of course the mod is great, but things like the strategy guy and the guilds, I think they shouldn't have rushed those as much.

I think you are supposed to be able to hire any mercenaries in taverns, so thats working as intended. The Slaver thing does look like a bug, seems they show up for some and not for others- the Slaver faction isn't listed in Quests/Factions for me, although all the others are.

I have a Bug were whenever the time to pay my troops has come the debt is -40000000 and Iv only started the game
it keeps sucking all of my money away :/
