I have one guestion, too. How much bytes has proper installation files of SoD and M&B?
My files is:
SoD: (7-zip archive) 213 304 251 (after unpack) 669 749 711
M&B: 399 934 609
I think it doesn't matter, but I want to know
Thanks!
It doesn't, if it wasn't downloaded right it wouldn't unpack.
I have been running this mod since release, I have only crashed twice, once from the jotnar clan mission where you have to clear out the slavers from the village, once I entered the village.. "havn't been back to determine if thats a bug or a coincidence" and the other was a bug that has already been referenced many times, where the man has spread rumors about you and I chose to duel and then after you beat him your fight a garrison of a town.etc.
Other than that the mod has ran stable for many hours, seeing a couple red script errors but nothing that causes ctd.
Some people have mentioned that they are using secondary programs to improve performance, such as a shader emulators "which use lots of cpu time", or others. If you are using these types of programs try disabling them, some low end video card users should turn their settings down instead of using "booster applications that run in the background. The only thing I'm doing different is adding a -heapsize command to the target line, letting m&b use 1.2gigs of ram instead of 800mb it usually uses. Doubt that is a lot of peoples problem, what is your page file size? Everyone's machines operate differently, depending on which apps you use, drivers, dx versions, lots of variables here. All I'm saying is it can't be the mod 100% because me and lots of other people are not experiencing these issues. I played this mod for 8 hours straight with only a couple minor script errors, no crashes other than explained above. For example I'm currently testing for the sp Warband beta, i for one have ran into a huge graphical glitch that no one else has, most likely because of the way my system is setup, it is most likely a driver issue. But I personally am thinking its on my end, and has nothing to do with the beta. The same goes for here, there are lots of variables.
