I have battlesizer installed and set to 248.
I have one guestion, too. How much bytes has proper installation files of SoD and M&B?
My files is:
SoD: (7-zip archive) 213 304 251 (after unpack) 669 749 711
M&B: 399 934 609
I think it doesn't matter, but I want to know
Thanks!

It doesn't, if it wasn't downloaded right it wouldn't unpack.

I have been running this mod since release, I have only crashed twice, once from the jotnar clan mission where you have to clear out the slavers from the village, once I entered the village.. "havn't been back to determine if thats a bug or a coincidence" and the other was a bug that has already been referenced many times, where the man has spread rumors about you and I chose to duel and then after you beat him your fight a garrison of a town.etc.

Other than that the mod has ran stable for many hours, seeing a couple red script errors but nothing that causes ctd.

Some people have mentioned that they are using secondary programs to improve performance, such as a shader emulators "which use lots of cpu time", or others. If you are using these types of programs try disabling them, some low end video card users should turn their settings down instead of using "booster applications that run in the background.  The only thing I'm doing different is adding a -heapsize command to the target line, letting m&b use 1.2gigs of ram instead of 800mb it usually uses. Doubt that is a lot of peoples problem, what is your page file size?  Everyone's machines operate differently, depending on which apps you use, drivers, dx versions, lots of variables here. All I'm saying is it can't be the mod 100% because me and lots of other people are not experiencing these issues. I played this mod for 8 hours straight with only a couple minor script errors, no crashes other than explained above.  For example I'm currently testing for the sp Warband beta, i for one have ran into a huge graphical glitch that no one else has, most likely because of the way my system is setup, it is most likely a driver issue. But I personally am thinking its on my end, and has nothing to do with the beta.  The same goes for here, there are lots of variables.

I get a random crash every other battle. Shame, it's such a good mod with great potential. But, it's only a BETA, I suppose.

Thanks for replay!
I don't use any programs to boost performance. I've got GF GTX260, so I think it's ok. CPU is IntelCor2Duo E8500 3,16GHz, so it's ok too. 4GB RAM and 3072MB page file. I've got Win7, so DX 11, graphics drivers are 196.21. First I think my system is incompatible, but others peoples have XP, Vista...
I try with -heapsize command (it must look like that: "D:\Sword of Damocles Gold\mount&blade.exe" -heapsize 1280 [about 1,25GB] ?), but I don't belive that it will help. I think, if problems are with MS C++ drivers, so I must to download newest or repair. But it doesn't help.
Regards

From Description:
Visit villages directly to find volunteers who are not counted as taxpaying population of the fief

If this is indeed supposed to be the case, it isn't working. Visiting the towns directly is still deducting from the taxpaying population.

I didn't touch anything. Just installed battle sizer and for a while played with forced single threading. Nothing more and after two hours of playing without singe threading, I didn't have single error massage while saving.

When can we expect another patch? I really want to duel the lord but he isn't on the map so I will wait for the patch.

When talking with a faith troop in party menu (combat specialist), I get a script error with assigning a banner.  This is one of the new faith troops so I am assuming all of the new faith troops wll have this problem (perhaps this setting was not included yet).

Guys I think I have a bit of info on this crashing problem. Do any of you having the crashes run on a 64-bit system? I crash during battles and I'm on 64-bit, one of my friends are also crashing in the same way and he runs on 64-bit. Now the interesting thing is that two of my other friends run on 32-bit and they don't crash or have any problems like this at all.

Well then **** I really have no clue. Other than 64-bit me and my friend hardly have any connections when it comes to our rigs. We use completely different brands with almost everything. What about Windows 7? Do you use that?

I have Windows 7 64-bit and no CTD

Sweet tapdancing Christ what the hell is up with this problem. It's the most random thing I've ever encountered.
Have you ever heard abou that guy, who sneaked random numbers generator into his program to produce totally random bugs?

I took a castle on Day 4 just to check out the kingdom options.  After I lost the castle a week later, I started getting random events for villages in other kingdoms.

I say 'Become a party' to an adenian knight. he goes away from my party, but he doesnt appear as a regiment in the map. he is lost. i also get script errors while attempting to talk to him beforehand.

He is somewhere on the map. It sometimes happens.
