1) they were some equivalent of sea raiders from native - bandit party with "ship captain" unit (Eastern England faction). Everyone had simple round shield, but you can't hit their legs for sure.
They are high quality warriors (dena or frankis, most dena than frankish)
2) You could make brokers pay more for prisoners - still some interest to look for them. Right now, If you got your neighbors pissed off, your only hope to sell prisoners is their spawn in one of 2 your faction's city.
Actually, prisioners system add level to price, if you have high quality troops, they pay most for him

sometimes more than 20 at the same time. Kind of similar to the Lord's Defect Spam. Overall this makes the game feel more "gamey" and less dynamic -as if this is just some trigger firing rather than a true political climate.

I do not know what frequency of war and peace would you have (you should have intervals of between 20 and 40 days), but you'd be surprised about the policy and as the friend of yesterday, tomorrow is your enemy and vice versa.
If you guys could find a way to tie these types of events into the actual goings on of the game, well that would a whole new layer of manipulating the world around you type strategy
We have add historical relations to begin of game. By example, Mierce and Bernaccia are enemies, but Warband have a high component of freedom in relationships and agreements, with the intention that each game is different
Might it just be easier to give us the BattleCommand map for after we fall?

Adorno, i think that you are talk about merchant quest (where it spam lair), but, if i mean well, makute is doing lord quest. It dont spam new lair here, you need meet dena landings (ship icon - east anglia kingdom generally) and attack. If you dont see dena landing, you have wait or do others thing while.

Paying for recruiting recruits from villages is weird: The menu says "6 Gebur Saxons will join (48 Scilingas)" but then I only pay 6 Scillingas. So the next always says more than I actually pay.
On another note: Recruting, upgrading an weekly cost of units is too low. I almost drown in money!
What relation have you with that village?
too low? upgrading is double than native (we have down a few it last version), recruting is most down or most up like your relation is with village, and weekly cost was down because betatesters want it.
1) Training Troops via the Constable is broken:
My COnstable trained a Sceotand Engle (which aren't upgradeable anyway) to Efendor (that's the name of my Character). Now I have a clone of mine sitting in my castle. I can't move him in my army though. He is stuck there.
I think that diplomacy mod team is work in this problem.
2) The screen that shows how much troops you can have (through renown, base size, Leadership etc.) shows a lower number than the actual party size

3) I think armies are too huge. Maybe it is more realistic, that lords didn't have small troops of 60- 100 men, but game playwise seeing almost every second lord running around with 300 - 400 troops is too much. In addition recruiting men is too easy. I have three villages with good relations, and I always get 20 - 30 warriors every day from one of these three villages. That means I can raise an army of 160 - 180 men in about two days through these 3 villages alone. I'd suggest lower the number of volunteers that join, and the "respawn" rate (every 3 days or so).
Oh, and troops are too cheap. I'd raise the upkeep cost about two times they are now. I don't even know what to do with all the money I have.

Lords have most troops if it have most reputation. We can down it, add most relation requisite, but it will be to player also.
I will look village problem, if we add most respawn time i think that will be most realist

sorry about my bad English. anyway, I think the character 's background should be decided by the player instead of randomly generated. Another thing is that save setting, player should have this liberty to save their games in a different slot, other wise should they ecounter difficulty or bugs and once they are defeated ,they can't replay or correct the part they had trouble with. other than that, thanks, it's a great mod

you can create your character normally. And you can choice like save your game same that native.
