Running Warband 1.143 and Expanded 2.53.

Whenever looting a village, I ONLY get butter as loot =/

Since 2.53 upgraded to 1.153 it could be an incompatibility (some changes in trade goods was made between 1.150-1.153).  You may need to upgrade your warband copy to 1.153.
 
I have a 200 men party, but whenever I join Lethwin to help his cause, I lose around 50 soldiers, why???

They "poof" and disappear from your party immediately? Or you lose them from your ideal party size so then they begin to desert?

simply poof, Lethwin joins, from 200 I get 149 men, didn't tried to track which troops disappear tho, thought it was the classic bandit bug, but I have no bandits, only nation troops... (whenever I leave troops in a castle a few days later all bandit troops in the garrison go to jail lol)

You can never trust those bandits.. stealing behind your back even when you're paying them. :wink:
 
Found a few more minor bugs...

A) Castle entrenchment does not work as advertise.... you run out of arrows and the same reinforcement glitch i highlighted earlier

B) There is no retreat/tab exit option for normal encampment. Became a problem when i ran into a passive AI issue and was killed. After 15 minutes i ended up force CTD because enemy was not advancing and i could not get out of the battle.

C) As a mercenary you don't get the option to raid/plunder a castle when you capture it. I know your technically employed and won't get to keep it, but as a lord you can plunder it but not as a merc.... seems a bit opposite. not sure if this is a glitch or intended lacking feature.

D) I've run into a few random incidents when the AI was completely passive. On one occassion i rode out personally to find out why they weren't moving, got killed by a crossbowman. Since i couldn't give orders but was in a superior situation figured i go get a snack and come back to a win. came back to enemy AI literally still at spawn location. Other times when i was still alive and able to command my army to engage, eventually seems the high death toll low morale would trigger the route script and enemy would flee. Noticed issue when i literally was dead and could not effect anything.

E) Ran the "Grain" quest for the vaegir village sumbujah i think it was. Anyway i remember reading that get them Big Bag modified grain would have extra benefit, So i bought those and completed the quest. Ran another 2 quests and a battle and was shocked to find that all the bags of grain was still in my inventory. The quest was completed and never checked assuming as per normal the bags were removed but there were still present. Haven't gotten the quest again so i haven't been able to attempt a reproduction but figured i'd mention it. No a big issue though, kinda like being able to sell the grain back.

It somewhere states unlimited ammo while entrenched during a siege? Or while entrenched in general?

Normal encampment? You mean entrenched while not sieging or when choosing to walk around your camp?

Not a glitch, no. Plunder is from Diplomacy, so it is either an oversight or an intentional design choice by Waihti. Can consider changing that though, though. You make a good point...though it should have consequences with your hiring lord, depending on that lord's personality or some such to balance it out.

You are using Formations AI, I assume?
I'll continue to work on this. Very frustrating as I have a very difficult time reproducing this and I've added what should be an auto-the-AI-must-move check at 2 minutes if they haven't...so not sure why that isn't fixing things. Note also, that, for when you get KO'd, you can set up an auto-charge or to have the Formations AI take over in mod options.

The trade good item modifiers mod I don't think has been incorporated really anywhere but in assigning modifiers to what merchants give...that is something that could be much better implemented.

A) Can't track down where i read the ammo thing for the entrenchment mod but i have witnessed my own arrows restocked and i  have used that feature extensively the last few days so i know for a fact it is in effect for normal entrenchment battles. Only when i was in a seige entrenchment last night and noticed my archer army getting wiped out because they were standing idle and empty did i pick up there was a difference.

B) Sorry was 4am when i typed that... that's a typo meant to type entrenchment not encampment. There is a Tab/exit for seige entrenchment battles but none for for the general in the field scenes. It keeps stating "enemies are too close"... literally from start of battle and even after death. I think it was an intended feature for immersion (the idea that you're surrounded and trapped in your camp).... But when you have another issue it creates a huge problem.

C) I'm all for consequences... considering this leads to sizeable loot (i got 11,000 for one castle), there should definitely be some negatives to balance it out. I know you lose honor, and when it's a town i believe you lose relation as well. I would add lose relation with the former owner aswell since technically the money come directly form their welth.

E) "Finally, there's also a slight tweak to the "Deliver grain to village" quest. Trust me - if you bring those peasants large bags of grain instead of regular ones, they will be grateful!".. http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,186051.msg4453902.html#msg4453902
From the main mod page. Lav had some special addition in there... probably bonus relation but in any event the grain wasn't taken out of my inventory.

Sorry for piling all these random minor glitches on. Unfortunately my modding expertise is 93% Morphs editor, 5% follow instructions and 2% copy and paste. Otherwise i would actually fix these minor issues myself and just share the solutions.

Just to say that I've had the same 'D' problem as Bankoleva.. whenever I've fought the Khergits, actually.

Also:

1) The 'Imperial Hunting Bow' seems to be able to have the 'Reinforced' modifier, offering no bonus.

2) Doubt this is a bug, but the 'Strong Nord Bow' seems silly when called the 'Strong Strong Nord Bow'..

1) I looked at that in Morphs editor and reinforced isn't tagged. Did you get the bow as a tournament prize perhaps. I've seen the same thing on a horse i won from a tournament and i believe it's something to do with the tournament fixs they just did for 2.53.

2) It's not a bug. It's a naming clash that exists in mount& blade since the original i believe. The actual name of the Bow has strong in it and the modifier that changes the stats is termed strong. You'll see this clash in any mod or even native where ever you see an item with strong in the name and it has the possibility to have the strong modifier. The only solution would be to rename the weapon.

I twice successfully besieged the Khergit castle of Reindi as the Swadians, and after a pretty gruesome battle, in both cases I've taken it.  However, after dealing with the prisoners and loot, I get a screen that shows the enemy casualties again.  At the top is the message "You shouldn't be seeing this", it lists the casualties, and when I click on continue, I get +/- 300 denars, and... nothing happens.  So I click continue again, I get +/- 300 denars and... nothing happens.  And so on, with no escape possible except to tab out and exit through the task manager. 

This has happen twice in a row.  Is this a known bug, and is there a workaround?

Is this a new game on 2.53 or one carried over from 2.52 (or earlier)?
Were you ever enlisted prior to this?

I brought this up and was confirmed by 2 other people. They are aware of it and i believe Caba has been looking into it.
It is linked to Freelancer (enlisting with a lord). If you did it prior to 2.53 update and are using a save prior to 2.53 then your going to run into that everytime you try to siege. Currently there is no work around and i believe they're looking for a fix to it.

I personally just started a new game and can confirm that it is not an issue with a new game on the 2.53 patch. That is you can enlist and drop out and not have the problem at all. Well as of day 97 and about 7 sieges and 2 different lord enlistments i haven't seen it.  If your looking for more info, the posts are about 2 pages back.

EDIT: oooopppsss.... looks like Caba on the ball today. feel free to ignore my post

I can confirm the grain quest is repeatable. regular grain and modified "fine" grain gives +4 relation while modified "big bag" gives +9 relation boost :shock:. That's more than double.... i don't know what Lav was thinking there. Big bag grain is not taken out of inventory after quest.
