Here are some problems I've encountered in my first experience of Floris. Gameplay pack, installed with the installer.

First bug:
INVALID ITEM in One-Handed Weapons

Second bug:
When viewing all items, I recieve three "RGL Warning" pop-ups when attempting to open the Armor category. It reads:
"Couldn't load 'textures\min_itm_armor_khe_nob_kazakhrobe_spec.dds'"
"Couldn't load 'textures\min_itm_armor_khe_nob_kazakhrobe_normal.dds'"
"Couldn't load 'textures\min_itm_armor_khe_nob_kazakhrobe.dds'"
These errors will also appear if I attempt to visit the regent Sanjar Khan of the Khergit Khanate in his castle. His armor is shiny bronze black and obviously untextured.

Third bug:
Female hairstyle has a mesh issue

edit: Would I avoid some of these issues if I abstained from using the installer or played the expanded pack instead?

Download the "Floris 253 Missing Textures for Any Version" file and put them in your "..\Floris\Textures" folder.
 
Hey, I just wanted to give advice about some bugs and should or could be easily fixed...

You can't enlist/join a lord after you become a vassal.
You still should be able to except when your a vassal you don't get troop pay or armor.

When you become a vassal on leave you can't go back to the lord and stop the personal/captured/desert quest.

Can be easily fixed with ~enlisted tags in the module... python
 
The circle with your banner that helps to recognize your allies or soldiers doesn't show up in naval battles.
 
This should be in the support thread, but what stands out immediately is that the game thinks you have 1 GB of RAM.  If you really have 1GB then the mod is not going to run properly.  I would suggest trying the gameplay version, but it would probably be borderline.  If you have more than 1GB and the game is not recognizing it then make sure steam or warband isn't running in compatibility mode.

To check right click the application -> select "properties" -> select "compatibility" tab.  It should be an option you can uncheck, but if it is disabled you may need to use the "apply to all users" button on the bottom of that tab.

and yeah i only have 1 gb ram... hehe so i should download gameplay or basic then.

That is my report

This happens to me, but usually its just after I load a saved game. The commands still work, you can still issue the orders even if you don't see the text (provided you know the hotkeys) and the soldiers will obey. Sooner or later, the text notifications will show itself again.

Well, I don't know if this is really a bug, but, when you switch the equipment of a freelancer, for example, couir bulli for a heraldic mail, and put the heraldic mail where the cuir builli was, the mail dissapears.
 
Don't know if it is a bug but I am getting some assets from a city I have nor land nor enterprises in. I had once a few acres of land in that city but I sold them long ago. And I am still getting assets as if I own some land.
 
Caba`drin asked me to post this bug here in the "Quick Questions/Quick Answers Thread" (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,215150.msg5899041.html#msg5899041).

I have a bug where my bishop does not appear in siege battle (Jeirbe castle) and also disappears completely from my party after it. Using the "Choose who joins you in battle" option seems to cause it and just choosing "Lead your soldiers in an assault" works normally and does not cause the bishop to disappear. I tested few times and it doesn't matter if he is selected or not. He will always disappear. Even if I retreat from battle immediatly he will disappear. Strangely I couldn't reproduce this bug in few other castles and towns. Here is my save game:

Name of the save should be "bishop disappear bug".

EDIT: Oh, and i'm using Floris Expanded.

EDIT2: And this happened again. I fought against many tundra bandit parties and now I notice that my 3 priests and 1 bishop have disappeared again. And they did not die! I remember that I also have lost priests before so maybe they have the same bug too?
 
This is a minor issue but i mind aswell mention it, when you start with a male noble background and choose saranid, you start with a shield and a staff, looks mighty funny using the staff as a spear poking people to death with the blunt end.
Also please make female and male have the same total stat/skill points, i dont know if this is intentional or not, but it irks me. :razz:
 
I will look into the starting spear for the sarranid region.

Not all starting options are created equal with reason.  It lets you vary your starting difficulty on your own.  Also many incorporate non-stat considerations into their balance "rating" such as starting cash or relation.  Most are fairly well balanced with that thinking in mind.
 
Yeah. I just count points and exclude the stuff i feel is pointless and every time i counted for the various backgrounds i came up with 1 more stat point and 2 more skill points for female. But i think some of those skill points go into persuade and the stat point into cha which is not really needed so i guess its okat even for a min-maxer like myself. :smile:

 
Came across another small thing. When you enter a tavern you see two options; 1: to buy drink for your men and gain a morale boost and 2: buy drink for every man that comes in and gain a rep boost with village.
If you buy one the other vanishes. its no big deal it just smacks of something that shouldent happen so i figured id mention it. :smile:

Also there is a weapon called "balanced bollocks throwing daggers" this weapon is messed up really bad, whenever you try to swing/throw it the animation happens in really slow motion, and nothing happens. I dont know if its nothing but a big joke though. :grin:

Also when you take a castle or city and one of your followers ask who will have this place you say me me, and he says "... number of troops killed will be the new lord of X"

Another thing is that the enemy (and your own troops aswell i guess) often gets stuck in vegetation, those little shrubs etc. Might be an idea to remove the collision boxes from some of those items. Ive found 5 enemies trapped behind a rock at their starting position after the battle was over (almost over) but i guess this is a universaap problem cause ive seen it in several other mods aswell, and some of the new scenes you have here have alot of shrubbery.

When taking a city/keep you get the option to change your culture, but i only get up 2 choices :vaegir nord and player culture, and favour no culture over the other where are the others; swadian rhodok and sar, is this a bug or..?

Also may i suggest a little tweak to make it harder to siege castles, as it stands you can just go in with 100% crossbowmen or archers and your companions and mow everything down, when your out of arrows retreat and rinse and repeat. This even gives you the opportunity to save inbetween to assure you never looses anyone. The enemy are not that bad with sally out but it dont happen as often as it should and your archer zerg still mowes em down if you and your companions go out ahead of them and lock up the incoming zerg in melee. How abouth halfing the number of arrows or something when enemies sally forth, or placing them even closer to your people, as in within 5 meters. Anyway this really didnt belong in this post i reckon.
 
not sure if yet reported or recorded but anyway:

chosing player faction culture will not give your faction the right guards of hals, nor will change the recruitment of your vassals. They will keep recruiting their original troops, not the freelancer troops or anything else.

This even tough the kingdom 7 reinforcements are set to include freelancer units
 
This is not so much of a problem as it is just annoying. I've noticed that on some of the ladies, their faces have a different skin tone than their bodies.

Sadly we can't do much about that. The skin tone on bodies is connected to the clothing, meaning it's not actually their skin that you put a dress mesh over.

The head is floating in one spot and the body comes as a separate item including the clothes, which is why you can change the shape or size of the body and the head will still be in that spot (noticeable with the Nord formal dresses, which have somewhat lower and narrower shoulders). So whatever color the modeler set the skin to be on the clothing item, that'll be the color you see.
 
Newest florist and warband.

I encontered a rather devestating bug yesterday. Where I assisted a caravan belonging to one of my towns. After killing the steppe bandits, I came down to -603 reputation!
I lose reputation everytime I aid someone against bandits.

I can't talk to my towns, myself or in any other way return my reputation to a positive. It is currently at -74, for some reason.
 
Edwyn when reacting to lezalit says: .. i must say you should teach palantinus lezalit a lesson, if it wasnt for my self controll i would have "flown to her throat a long time ago"
The next verse makes more sense but lezalit is still referred to as she. :grin:
