A couple of things:

1) The Sarranid Sword appears to not have a Strength req.

2) During a tournament in Ahmerrad (never during a tourny fight itself, but often at the end and occasionally when I click on 'Tournament Standings'), I get a pop-up error window telling me that the game "Couldn't load 'Textures/min_itm_armor_khe_nob_kazakhrobe_normal.dds'". It freezes the game until you (repeatedly) close the error message and then allows you to switch back to the game and continue once it's gone. The game also produces some red error lines but by the time I've switched back they've started to fade.. from the glimpses I've caught they do refer to the same item, though.

These are with a fresh install (new savegame) on Floris 2.53 Expanded and Warband 1.153.

I had this prob too. Sorry about the double post, but if you go to the Modules file, there is a folder that says Dev Suite. Click on it and browse through the only folder there. You should eventually get to three DDS files. Copy and paste these into resources in the Floris folder in Modules. Sorry if the directions are a bit complicated.

Can you post a copy of your rgl_log.txt?  Seems there is some kind of common theme that is wrong in the patch, but apparently not occurring on my copy.

Sorry, you lost me.. I've installed the Dev Suite and can't find what you're talking about.

So you installed the Dev Suite version with the source code? Sorry then, can't help you. Unless you uninstall it, then install the Expanded version.... If you do that, there is an extra folder that is installed that is labeled "Something Dev Suite Something" Inside are the three DDS files(textures) that the game can't load, because it is installed in a separate folder than the rest. Like if you clicked "Modules" there would be Floris 2.53, then another module called "Something Dev Suite Something".

Sorry, I didn't have a chance to bump into any of the game's noble women to see if any needed a Champion tonight; my character's latest tenure as Marshall has been extremely hectic. But, as I said, during conversation detailing what the lady needs done she'll use female gender-specific pronouns to denote her husband; ie, "Baron So-and-So is locked in dungeon X. I need someone to break her out."

Also, perhaps it's of note that my character's married.

Nope, I'd originally just installed Expanded 2.53 and there wasn't any other folder there.. I've now installed the Dev Suite, too, and have 2 extra folders.. "Floris Dev Suite 2.53" and "Floris Dev Suite 2.533".. they have the source code, but no folder with three dds files in.

Ok, I just loaded a 2.52 savegame, then attended a tournament in Yalen and now...my maximum party size and renown got messed up somehow.



Is this known already?

Btw:
I changed the simple_triggers.txt according to Caba to set the renown loss to zero.

Update: I also get the same error message for "Textures/min_itm_armor_khe_nob_kazakhrobe_spec.dds".

Also, "Balanced Throwing Bollock Dangers" () appear to be One-Handed rather than Thrown and have a Weapon Reach of 0.

Those three errors are all for the same item, the robe Sanjar Khan wears, and also the one robber that tells you where the merchants brother wears. Can you possibly do a reinstall? Then check the modules again?

My install was new as of 2 days ago using the Installer, and I don't imagine why there'd be an extra 'Dev Suite' folder with just 3 files without installing the Dev Suite..

It looks like that truncated the file, so the line in question isn't there (it cuts off on trigger 60 of 163)

This is a Diplomacy bug that we've been trying to find for a while. Everything looks right...but...it continues to crop up. Hopefully there will be a break through before 2.6

This isn't likely a tournament bug and more likely a missing texture issue or something similar.  Nothing in the tournament code related to starting a match was changed in 2.53.  What we could use is a rgl_log.txt from someone immediately after a crash to see if we can pinpoint what is causing it.

We need the entire log as the errors are likely to be displayed at the bottom of it.  Just put them between (code)(/code) brackets.
