Bug Reports and Suggestions

Users who are viewing this thread

After using the "Find and execute potential dissidents" option on one of my towns, I can no longer wait inside towns or castles without result screens for that option popping up repeatedly. Also, after trying to use that option in my town a second time, it became impossible to leave the town menu. Selecting "Leave" just brought me right back to the town menu.

I wouldn't call this bug game-breaking, but does anyone know how else to decrease the threat of rebellion? According to my vizier it's getting pretty high (230ish) and despite building an Ishtari temple, it seems to keep on rising.

Will make some fixes for the most common problems.
If anyone wanna suggest something which realy needs to get fixed:

I am still trying to find ideas for troops xD I have armoured Sabre cavalry with pistols, and lancers. anything you can think of? like, a specialist against a certain nation?

For Syazn? No, I think they're pretty solid as far as troop types go. I think the other nations could use some grenadiers and officers though.

Here is a Elite Merc cavalry for Kasthind as well as being able to use as a plain merc. they are known simply as the Black Riders. The carry pistols and elite sabres

(If anyone played age of empires III you may know what inspired me)

Black Riders! Though in Age of Empires III, they are in full armor with closed helmets, essentially these guys;

In AoE however, their horses have horns, the heresy!

Yum.

Yours are more like hakkapeliitta to me, but yeah, also yum.

Ah, yeah  I actually love that game. how are you? and anything you think I could add to any nation?

I'm good, thanks!

Very much eager for Sayazn though.

And I don't know. Its a very alien universe in a way, and that's just how I like it. Its hard to come up with new things that Jacob hasn't done already, though how you handled the officers was exceptional. Please make sure your armors end up in the next official version.

One thing I would like to see is more extravagant outfits and armors for officers and lords. Something really unique that radiates cultural trends of respective factions at their finest.

Although I'm a sucker for plate armor, I find it odd how plain and typical and likewise identical the armor on most Sayazn lords is. Goes for others as well, but particularly them.

Would take some serious modelling I'll wager, but maybe some smart retexturing would do just as well.

I think it would look nice too. hmm, I might try but I don't really know if I can really do it well enough to fit the style and feel of the mod.

Well One thing I have noticed that every mod I've played with muskets in is missing. A cartridge box. I've seen them in Napoleonic wars so I know it's possible to give them a model, but I have no clue why no one has done it. Is there something I'm missing? Or it simply that no one has bothered to make one?

They're buggy due to silly hardcode limits and have a tendency to float above the ground if someone dies. I tried them a few times way back in 2014 but they were broken.

Fast response time, and a quite satisfying answer. Quite a shame they're buggy, I've gotten shot more times than I can count trying to pick up a pack of cartridges in the field.

i found a bug not the game breaking type or the major type or any thing worth noting really but it runs a really nice moment so i met a lady in a tavern named zahira so this women told me here story and so on and in the end she offered to give me money to join my party she offered 200 kora now when I stopped laughing and said yes she actually took 200 kora not gave so that sort of runed the moment this bug is not important at all and I had a good chunk of cash i was sitting on so it didn't matter but it is stl a bug

I already posted this in another thread, but I figured I should post it here because it's where bugs should be posted.

Reformer Ringleaders are wearing the wrong boots. Or jacket maybe.

And would it be possible to have nationalist rebels as well as our current political ones? Might be interesting to have Kuttese and Khaldan Insurgents seeking independence. Providing it's possible of course.

And the revolutionaries might be a tad OP. This is one game I'm going to have to give up on.

a tad op would be in understatement my current map is worse then this all of the sayazn provinces are rebels in my game well most of them also these 800 troop garrisons with end of the line troops is not helping also can they win ? like they can't just rebel forever they must it some point overthrow whatever government they relabeled from and take over right ?

The issue with the reformers is that they wear the ankle boots.
I think they need something like the Trousers the Modern Sayaznid are wearing.

My Map looks just as bad as yours.
Also, Revolutions seem to be random. If you save just before one happens (F12 Fanatic over here), and then reload, there will still be a rebelion happening, but sometimes at the ofter end of Khalahar.

I think it might just be selecting a "ripe" town at random. I still maintain that the issue is that the lords have no idea how not to raze any city to the ground. so they're all constantly "ripe"

In my games the revolutionaries get surpressed very quickly, even with me siding with them, so treasure your situation.

I don't think they need a nerf.

Wow. Really? I have never ever seen the revolutionaries wiped out. Most games they just play whack a mole. Have your games had a lot of world peace or something? XD

for some reason i don't entirely believe you cause it is almost impossible to happen unless is edo said world peace happens and even then all the vessels need to team up to even have a chance it beating that 800 troop garrison
