After getting captured in a bugged sea battle I can't seem to rest or wait on the campaign map anymore. After a second it just ends it on its own even though I'm waiting.

Mazakan or whatever the capitol of the Principality is is serious bugged. More than half of the attacking army will spawn locked behind a wall that you can't get to or get out of. This completely ruins sieges in that city for both attackers and defenders.
 
The starting town in Khasthind is currently unplayable if you're beseiging it. You get spawned on one side of the town, with no way into the town, so you have to autoresolve to win the battle.
The battle map set for that area is also odd. Everyone spawns in all mixed up and it's impossible to organise anything because you're in the middle of it with no way to organise because you will probably get shot before you can do anything.
 
The game seems to think some of the lords in the game are female. The game seems to think a female character is actually male, which ended up with a hilarious wedding.
Wedding scene is bugged, the bride walks out an invisible staircase before proceeding to noclip through a wall.
Flags sometimes do not display correctly, I've got a weird palisade thingy and a bandit cave icon clipping through my character model instead of the flag I picked
 
Hey,love the concept of your mod. The rise of the gunpowder Empires from the 16th century onwwards is super interesting to me. I wanted to know what it is you study?
On the bug topic i cant seem to get past the loading textures faze of the loading screen, the one with the cool drawing of shoeless guys charging a gun line (love the moustaches).
Am i doing something wrong? i downloaded the mod in both mod db and media fire and tried installing it several times.
Im pretty **** with computers so sorry if its an obvious thing :/.

Try using "load textures on demand". It's compulsory for most mods as they tend to add textures without removing unused ones.

Anyway in the upcoming version, this (hopefully) shouldn't be necessary. I've removed a lot of unused textures and made existing ones smaller where applicable. I'm aiming for a compressed size of 500MB, which should be fine for most computers.

Btw I studied BA History at the School of Oriental and African Studies, specialising in middle eastern and East Asian history. Fun times revising for an exam on a period of history I'm vaguely basing a mod on. :razz:
 
Yeah I can imagine you get inspiration all the time from your studies. Im doing a BA in regular old history, but id love to a masters at SOAS in post colonial history  :grin:. I tried the load texture thing and no luck, you reckon i might be missing a texture through a faulty download?

Yea i have, I downloaded them all again as well, i still get the same freezing loading screen. Right under the spearmans foot haha. No error messages either. Do I need any other mods or the napoleonic expansion or something?  :ohdear: :ohdear: :ohdear:

Also a few suggestions
- forest maps, and some town battles begin with both army's clumped together and this completely destroys the balance between musket based factions and the ishtari and other melee forces. 10- 25 elite ishtari forces can slaughter 50-75 troops before I have time to command my muskets and almost always lead to my capture when confronted with fast moving party's in the forest. I feel the whole point is to prevent melee troops from reaching your muskets thru a combination of pikemen and massed fire, because even in the field the melee based forces can easily defeat you if your lines broken and you cant reform it
-Sea battles are not listed in game concepts and I cant figure it out for the life of me.
-villagers path finding is all messed up, they just wander into walls most of the time, also in any fief I get my villagers are nude and I have like 10 tournament masters.
-The in-game shops only stock pre modern weapons and amour even when every faction has rifles
-Cant recruit any rifle forces unless they are prisoners of bandits and rebels forces

Despite all those complaints this is probably my favorite warband mod of all time and I hope you continue to update it as I cant stop playing it even in this state.

I've been playing the game for the past day or two, although (mind you) I haven't progressed very far.  One of the main reasons is because of how nearly unplayable the game is with all of the bugs.  It's really frustrating at times.  The mod seems great, and I want to have fun, but I think there needs to be a lot of work done in the bug section.  What I've encountered so far:

-Tried to cross the water and I got into conflict with some other party.  We both spawned underwater and died. 
-Tried to do tasks for the leader of the Gashajin so I could offer him my vassalage, but it ended up not working at all.  It was the quest to take out a bandit fortress or encampment or something along those lines in the nearby area, but instead of giving a group of bandits it said "Player" or it had The Gashajinshah guy's name there.  While this normally wouldn't be too big of a problem (text mistakes happen frequently in mods) it literally makes the quest unplayable.  I couldn't even continue from that screen, although the game didn't crash.
-There are a few times when I'll go into dialogue menus or I'll go to a village to recruit, and then the layouts will just be all buggy and overlap one another.  Or in the case of the dialogue, it'll not even work until I alt+tab and then go back into the game.
-The colors of the Gashajin and the other green-named people that are nearby are very VERY similar and are almost impossible to distinguish.  Not really a bug, but it's a nuissance. 
-Whenver I go into a town and a bandit attacks me, or if I am training village troops, often they'll be spawned either incredibly far away from me, or they'll spawn inside of some building next to me.  Not a huge deal, but it was very confusing at the beginning.
-I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it's worth mentioning.  I had this problem where I selected "start modernised" and everyone was still use melee units.  I've selected the option MULTIPLE times without any change. 

That's all I can think of at the moment.  I'll see if I can find anything else.  Great mod though, just PLEASE fix some of the kinks. 
 
I created a character, started my adventure on Khergit territory - First prolog mission ( city where bandits are attacking you ) is buged. You can't enter the city. :smile:

Exactly, you can choose where you would like to start straight after character creation.
 
Hello Jacob just found a bug in the new version of 2.0. my character seems to have no arms. Also there is graphic flickering in the background when in battle.
The villagers are a tad bit bugged, they just keep walking into walls :grin:
I don't know whether I should post it here or in the google doc?
 
So I was trying to leave the Gasha tavern throught the door and somehow I recruited a bunch of modernized militia troops
Also, beards still shake and people move really slow on the campaign map
 
What is the most recent version of warband? I'll check. I'm pretty sure I do. I have version 1.167.
EDIT: apparently I think it could of been a one off because I tested today and it seems everything's alright again :smile: apart from them villagers :razz: they keep doing what they're doing. Any ideas on why? Another Lil' problem is that I can't do.tournaments in khalahar. After I press "good, thats what im going to.do" it loads up a tavern with people celebrating. I cant see my Character and the only way to exit is vía the menu not TAB.
 
The tournament in Khalahar is bugged. When you get down to the last 2 participants you still get 2 teams of 2 fighting round after round. I made it through round 30 of 2 participants remaining but having 2 teams of 2 fighting before giving up.
 
Zahzir's companion dialogue still refers to Native places and events.


Taidan's dialogue concerning Zahira is positive, while the interaction is for them fighting.


EDIT: Tam and Azir have the same problem.
