[BUG]New Patch Chat Lag

Not sure if anyone else is getting this but when we start a round I get HORRIBLE chat lag. By chat lag I mean when I try typing it lags, skips letters and the like. Never had this problem with older versions of the beta. Thought maybe it was my keyboard, switched it. Same problem. Also, I've noticed a few more lag spikes then normal. Not sure if its a new  influx of players or what.

I'm also under that impression. The EU server went down after not long though, so I played on an American server last.
