[bug] Full install version and invalid serial key problems

Two of my friends who just got invited today can't get the game to work using the full install. Every time it says invalid serial key or server is timed out validating the serial key.  Not sure what is causing this but both are experiencing it.  They have tried reinstalling it as well.

Many people that were accepted in this patch are experiencing this problem. Hopefully by 0.701 it'll be fixed.

Got the same lag.After launch, I entered the cdkey, but when i trying to connect to some server i getting message that my serial number is wrong

Is it the same serial you applied to the beta with?

To Arch yes  they used the same key they applied with and both restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled and still same problem. They both just got invited yesterday.

I also was accepted into the Beta yesterday, and every time I attempt to join any server I get told my serial key is invalid.  I thought perhaps this was because I bought my key a long time ago.. back when the game was .40* or something back in 2006.  I've tried reinstalling both the original and the expansion.  Running Win 7.

Additionally (and this sounds related) the expansion seems unable to save my key, as it (the expansion only) asks me for it again every time I open the program.

My problem seems to have beens solved by the lastest patch .701.  Thank you
