[Bug] "Freezing?" at the start of rounds

I think the picture explains itself, but I'll try to explain how I made it happen.

I don't know if it's just me, but at the beginning of rounds- I lag? Maybe it's lag. I don't really know. The symptom is such that I click on "choose your faction" then "Kingdom of ____." Then it stops. It won't continue for about 10 seconds. The game is continuing. No fps reduction. I usually just accept this as a minor inconvenience.

Lately, however, when I do that, it pops up troops behind the "Kingdom of ___," such that to click on a troop, I would click on a faction as well. When I hit esc, I just get ANOTHER window that lays on top of the last 2. Repeat this step until it starts working, and you get this freaky thing-

I've had that sometimes. Not lately, though. Never entirely understood what caused it, though it always seemed to happen at the start of a map. It was like I joined the server and team before anyone else, because no-one else was showing. I couldn't really pick a class because the screen kept coming up again and again, but when I finally got through, that happened.

I've had that happen several times, as well.

It's like you join an empty game or something.

I had similar issues but I recon it was because the game was loading the models into the buffer.

Maybe you should report this on the proper bug site? Or did you do that already?

I usually wait until I see the players who are already playing when joining a map. If I click before then (when the faction choice menu is up and the map is in the background, but no soldiers are visible) I have had CTD's a couple of times. After 5 seconds or people appear, running about on the map.
