It is either a driver problem or bad ram, or not fully compatible RAM.
I was getting that same error when dowloading torrents even if games and the rest worked, until i tested my RAM with memcheck. At first i thought its bad, but it turned out to run on too high voltage, (the ram is 800mhz), the mobo cant run it higher than 533, so i fixed it by lowering memory voltage, now it works well on 533.
In any case, check your RAM even if it might not be it, could be some small thing youve overlooked with it, or simply some driver conflict.
