[bug] Animation mixed up

All my animations are mixed up

For example when I pull out a weapon I get the dismount horse animation

Or when I try to shoot with a bow i sort of just throw my arms forward

And two handed weapons have one handed animations which aren't used with the correct mouse movements

Swords only have stabbing animations and blocking with a shield causes me to twist backwards and forwards

And my character kicks at random points

That happened due to incompatibility between 641 MP and 635(.1) SP.

You should update SP to 641 right away.

EDIT: You should either have gotten a PM or an email with the download.

Yep. That's the one I'm using. Got the pm yesterday

I have. That's the version which isn't working

So how do I fix it if not that?

I had this bug, just download the .641 executable and play, but I'm sure you will dislike stairs.

Last time it took something like 5 hours. I think i'll wait for the next patch and see if that works out

That's weird. Try deleting the single player executable and then download the new one (.641) just to be sure.

Also, after you use the .641 MP upgrader you need to repatch the .635.1 txt hotfix files because the MP upgrader will overwrite them.

So to reiterate: Upgrade MP to .641 > Repatch latest hotfix files> Use .641 SP executable

All hotfixes are posted on the board, not by e-mail or PM. Check the stickies for the latest hotfix, you should check the boards regularly to keep track of development and to see other bugs (on the board and on the bug tracker) other people have posted to keep in sync so that there's less duplicates going around and makes it easier for devs to resolve bugs when everything is in one bug report instead of multiple threads.

I don't think the hotfix touched the animations at all, last I checked it doesn't overwrite the actions.txt file. By right the upgrader and the .641 SP exe (2 different things) should give you working animation.

But the patch is still needed to keep your module system up to date.
