Brother's wife

this might be obvious to some but I got my brother a wife & then made him a governor but can I leave his wife at the castle to procreate?

Yes, click + icon on top right while in the settlement. Alternatively you can go to fief menu in clan tab, select the fief and there's a similar icon to send npcs to settlement if you're on 1.8.0.
