Hi guys!
I had this problem and figured I would post up the solution here.
Basically I was getting broken dialog, the formating breaking halfway through a sentence and justifying half the text to the right and half to the left.
The reason for this was MS Word 2007 (this could be true of older versions as well).
Basically word had put a ` in place of a ' every time I tried to use an apostrophe. Switching these around solved the problem...

So:
- ' (under the @ key on a UK KB) good
- ` (next to the 1 on a UK KB) bad
