BRDedit can't import .mtl files to it?!

Hey guys,

I imported a spear ingame with a poly edited plane which should be the feather on it...well the materials just affect the top of the plane. That means when I turn the spear the feather goes invisible. I changed the material to 2-sided in 3dsmax and tried to get it back to my Mod Resource...

Well there's a problem...
As I made the weapon_materials.brf I manually added a blank material and renamed it so the mesh will refer to it.
But now I really need to import my .mtl file from 3dsmax because of the 2-sided effect. I'm working for some time with BRFedit but never realized why it won't import materials. The only way it can be imported is when I import the .obj file - then the .mtl file will be imported aswell automatically. But that way doesn't work everytime...like now...I import the .obj file but the .mtl won't be imported with it.

Does anybody has the same problems and has ANY way to get around that and get my material into M&B?

Best not to rely on 2-sided materials. Duplicate the feather and then reverse its normals in Max. To do that, select the mesh, create a "normal modifier", and tick the box that says "flip".
