So what? I don't see how this is a problem. Just because they are allies doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to kill them or gain experience from shooting at them. Now, your allies should get a little pissed, but thats another story.

You're getting xp in an unintended way much faster than it's expected through normal gameplay.That exploit allows you to powerlevel three ranged skills and Riding by killing your allies with no consequences.
( do that while mounted and Riding will also go up considerably). THAT'S the problem.
