Bow Skill Exploit

If you're in a battle with another friendly party on your side you can shoot their/your archers to train your bow skill up, pickup their arrows when they fall to continue the process even long after the battle has ended.

I'm not sure whether you hit something or not matters, I think only the fact that your shooting does, I've earned points when attacking and missing

You have made a very good point on this exploit.

You can basically kill your ally's troops to level up your own skill.

Friendly fire should NOT give any experience to combat skill.

So what? I don't see how this is a problem. Just because they are allies doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to kill them or gain experience from shooting at them. Now, your allies should get a little pissed, but thats another story.

It's exploitable. That's the problem.

You're getting xp in an unintended way much faster than it's expected through normal gameplay. That exploit allows you to powerlevel three ranged skills and Riding by killing your allies with no consequences.
( do that while mounted and Riding will also go up considerably). THAT'S the problem.
