Bounty hunt

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for the order bounty hunt quest?

They told me to find Heretics and Adventure companies... but they are bloody impossible to find

So now i get minus relations with them instead...perhaps there is someway to find them that i do not know about?

I believe many of the unique armies count as Heretic/Adventurer, and they give you a huge amount or maybe even all the points necessary for the quest. One option is just to wait for one or more of the armies to spawn, and then take the quest and go after them.

If you've already accepted, I'd just roam around the map. In my experience, heretics/adventure companies are spread evenly throughout the map, as opposed to say Mystmountains or Jatu. Some of the village/castle steward quests can make heretics spawn (the one where the steward says "I've captured a heretic").

I typically find heretics along the Fierdsvain's borders with the D'Shar and Sarleon, and they'll wander further into the Fierd's lands.

Think of the area between Javiksholm, Avendor, Sarleon and Nal Tar.


Adventuring companies can be all over, but I tend to find them riding around in Ravenstern between Rane and Senderfall.

The KotEG mission is the worst, your only option is to hunt Noldor as most Red Brotherhood spawns can get rare late game.  And well the Noldor....  *galloping along on horse, 80 arrows come whizzing from across the battlefield, shield breaks, arrows to face*

Alright, thanks for the info. I'll just have to wait for a big heretic spawn then

I managed to find a pack of 15 heretics, but i was unaware that you had to fight them yourself, so i auto resolved and failed

For KotEG, it is not that hard to find Red Brotherhood, just don't carry too many troops and do few runs around map. Also, do not kill Red Brotherhood parties when quest is not on. Also, taking down enemy castle counts.
