Bothersome stuttering

Hello!

I noticed a similar thread in here, albeit the details were different from mine, and therefore the possible answer might be different too.
I am experiencing quite a bit of stuttering when playing the game, especially during fights and when performing an attack with my character, though also when performing some other specific tasks.
The framerate drops when enemy forces clash, or when my character gets close enough for the enemy to start attacking, I have also experienced those stutters during the tutorial, in the training camp, when my character was picking up various weapons to train with.
The task manager shows that it's the processor that's bearing the most load, being used in a whopping 100%.
Of course this might be caused by inferior equipment, but I studied the requirements carefully and doubt that I should have those problems with small engagements, let alone 1v1 duels.
I'd like to make sure whether it's the fault of optimization, some specific setting, or if my PC really can't handle the game.

My specs are:

Intel Core i5-7400 3.00 GHz
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB

Thanks!

I have had a similar experience, it stutters quite badly when in battle and towns. My specs are also very similar to yours with a GTX 1060 6GB, 8GB RAM and i5-6400. And yes, I made sure the game was using my dedicated graphics card.

What graphics setting are you on, I have the same problem with low frame rate and sudden stutters even on very low graphics.

And I'm pretty sure I fulfill the minimum requirement for specs considering they are:
Intel Core i7-8750H 2.20GHz
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

Hope this gets fixed :/

Intel Core i7-8700, 3.20Ghz
16GB RAM
GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB

Playing on overall medium specs, and I do not have any kind of stuttering.
Be sure to update graphic drivers etc.

See the common theme here?
>8GB lads
Maybe its time to get out of 2008

CPU: i5-4690K @3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Cores, 4 Logical Processors
GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (6 GB VRAM)
RAM: 8 GB

I've played MUCH more demanding games with my system on high settings with absolutely no stuttering. Maybe it's just speculation but I'm pretty sure it's on the games end in terms of needing some more optimization. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Ah, and those games had several hundred units constantly moving all over the campaing map right?
The game doesnt put as much of the strain on the GPU as it does on CPU and RAM, i imagine multiplayer runs fine for you huh?

Not saying there isnt space for optimization, but you should compare the game more to the new Civ games rather than Doom Eternal.
There's demanding, and theres demanding

the game eats up a comfortable 3GB of RAM most of the time, and the stuttering persists, even in non-demanding small skirmishes.

You dont really know much about how ram usage works right? This is just on starting the game and loading a save file

This is after going inside one castle and one battle.
You can imagine how it stacks up.

This is after finishing that 1 (ONE) battle.
You can imagine its not going to go so well for a person with 8gb, as windows itself requires some ram too, you have some background processes aswell.

EDIT: Playing since ive posted, so 40 minutes, this is where it is now. A bit over 8GB, isnt it?

very well, I shall buy an additional RAM stick, which hopefully will help.
