Pimple_of_Pixels 说:Need 3 more colony players. Warlords can wait somewhat longer as they are not as critical to the game - I need 10 colonies for balance reasons.
Pimple_of_Pixels 说:For balance's sake, I must ask the remaining 2 colony slots to be in the star system Iota Zulu and Meio.
It'll basically be like Aust's game, with turn-based "interturn" space combat. Ground combat will be like any other bop.How will you do combat pix?
Antimatter missiles. So are there ship parts that we warlords can't get at the beginning?
A coil-catapult does not count as a turret.Do drone catapults use turret slots?
That would be mind-****ingly long, unfortunately. I'm taking a "need-to-know" approach. If you think your ship could use a cool part or something, ask if it exists and I'll tell you.Do you have a complete list of equipment in the game?
More or less.If you upgrade the ship, doesn't the player with the shipyard learn every detail about your ship?
All boarding combat takes place in, for lack of a better term, "underwater." Polearms are thus the preferred melee weapon since they give leverage and can thrust through the fluid easily. Coil-Carbines with bayonets would also perform well. Can I give my crewmembers cutlasses?
There are two types: Hard and Soft. Soft is infinitely harder to produce but far more effective. Hard is heavier but satisfactory. In boarding situations, hard is too heavy to wear, and soft is very rare that you're unlikely to see it anyway. Body armour should rarely be a concern in boarding.Though I'm not sure how infantry body armor and whatnot is in this universe
After. It can be used to power whatever. Is base energy production before or after routine upkeep of the ship?
If they are fired, they consume ammo/energy/both.Do weapons consume energy constantly or only when being used?
Yes. But keep in mind: lasers can overheat, and guns can exhaust ammo. Doing it too many times in rapid succession could cost you a turret or a fat chunk of your hull, or several hundred tonnes of ammunition. If you have double the spare energy needed, could you fire twice in the same 'tick'?
Yes. For simplicity's sake, they're called 'Funds'.There's going to be some kind of currency, right?
No.Are there escape pods?
In ground combat, yes. In space, minimal appearance. Are there EMP weapons?
There are numerous applications: maybe your ally needs a tow, a non-warp-capable ship needs to get somewhere, or perhaps you want to trap your enemy in warp with you so you can take the fight to them at your home base. You can only project the bubble over one ship, and you must pay for their dark matter cost. What is the use of the Warp Rings +5 that lets you project bubbles over other ships? Is it only 1 ship or any number of ships so long as they are half your size?
Yes, but it must be moved to the fuel tanks to actually be used. Same with warp fuel. Can you carry fuel in the normal cargo storage?
I mean, you could, but you wouldn't be able to play anymore, and there are equally effective alternatives. Can I have my ship warpdrive into an enemy ship so that it becomes a super-fast missile?
They phase through warp bubbles. They can engage any target that's in the warp, including enemy ships, though that's really impractical. Their primary purpose is to counter antimatter missiles.Tachyon Bolts. How do they work
Yes.The Light Drone's Dual Rapid Fire 20mm coilguns are smaller than the coilguns that are on the ship right? and if so, does that make them more capable at point-defense?
Yes and yes, though if they deliberately probe, they may discover some things, since turrets are integrated with other systems.is it easier to add turrets to a ship than upgrade internal devices like the storage space, once the game is under way? and adding more turrets would not reveal a lot of info about your ship, would it?
Yes, it can.I really want the ships to go insane this game :c
Bahaha can that actually happen?
Yes. It's cheaper to build them that way, and merchants like their good profit margins. So are convoy ships usually magnetizable?
Possible but unlikely. Is it possible for a ship with really ****ty Observatories to not be able to detect who's shooting at them even after several combat turns?
