I don't know if this has been asked, but if anyone has a list of the various Calradian books and what skills they teach, it would be appreciated.

However if I have read the book once, can I read it again and gain +1? after a period of time, because I can not see where it tells me in game which books I have read already?

The books you can read have a percentage somewhere under the name. Obviously any book that has 100% listed has already been read and has therefor no use for you because you can only read each of these books once per game.

The other books are the ones that give you a bonus while on your inventory and any of these books list this property under their name "+1 to xxx while in inventory" (or something like that).

Note: There is one way of getting repeatedly the +1bonus by reading a book over and over again that I heard of. To do it, you have to export your character and import it on a new game... but this way you can keep on collecting the bonus over and over again.

What you can do is export your character, start a new game, import, and read the books again. The export/import function just stores your raw stats, money, and face (it doesn't even save hair color). But if you do that you might as well just cheat. That's the reason why I don't read books at all and use only those that give a bonus while in inventory.
