I was wondering one thing.
If there is one thing loved by a ton of people BUT without an qualitatively and quantitatively appropriate representation among videogames, this thing is pirates ("arrrr" pirates, not "other kind" of pirates). Ok, there is Monkey Island, Sea of thieves , Sid Meier's (which is definitely too old, something must be done about this) but it should be done more in the pirate/naval sector imho.
Sorry for scarce knowledge but, has there ever been in the M&B serie a mod revolving around ships/sea/pirate/navy/fleet things?
Don't you think that seaship/crew/fleet management could be a interesting sector to be explored more by videogames?
What are the best pirate/naval-themes videogames you know (especially if they are "M&B-like" regarding the perspective/scope of the game)?
