Hello and welcome to our third iteration of Bannerlord Native League! We are proud to present Season 3 of BNL starting 30th of August. This time around the tournament will have its sign ups in the TaleWorlds forums group, while our discord server will be host for the rest of the tournament. Both will be linked down below. We also have loot prizes for the winner of every division, as well as the second and third place of division A!
We have learned a lot since the first iteration of BNL. We do our utmost to improve the tournament and players’ experience on every edition. Thus, we have made several changes in order to further clarify the rules and make everything as smooth and fair as possible; 2 new player-made custom maps have also been added to the tournament, which brings our total of custom maps to 4. With six native maps, this brings the total map count to 10 for the players to compete on.
As with our previous tournaments, this one too will be played on custom servers (kindly provided by Gotha). These custom servers have guaranteed better stability and brought a fluent and uninterrupted gaming experience to the participants of all of our tournaments and events. Besides performance enhancement, custom servers have allowed us to stream tournament matches with live commentary. Streamers are now able utilize the spectator slots and use their cameras to take their watchers to the action. Thanks to the streamers module created by Krex, streamers can show important information such as player health, class and gold. These were unfortunately not possible before without the module.
Even though we are committed to hosting all the important information on the TaleWorlds forums, most of the community conversations happen on our discord and it will be the main platform for things such as posting scores. We have decided to keep the main functions on the discord due to multiple reasons, one of which is it allows us to stay in closer contact with our community and also enables us to solve any arising issues faster. Still, all important information will be reflected on both platforms for ease of use and the comfort of everyone.
Although the BNL hosts European servers, all are welcome to play, as long as you are willing to compete with a European ping. In fact in Season 2 we saw over 300 players (36 teams) spread over 6 divisions, so everyone should be able to find a comfortable place to compete in.
Besides the main course of BNL which focuses on 6v6 skirmish, we also host other tournaments, such as the currently active 3v3 Infantry Battle tournament organized by Kamby. We also plan to host more tournaments that appeal to a wider player-base and the entire Bannerlord multiplayer community.
