black knights = cowards?

is it just me, or are the black knights panzies? 90% of the time when i see them, they are attacking farmers or peasants.

Yes, clearly these barbarians don't value experience points like we do. Honestly, if I was actually involved in the kind of battle that had the potential for me to get stabbed, I imagine I'd have somewhat less than no concern for finding a challenge. Fights you know you can win? Sign me up.

Perhaps they fight the innocent to lure YOU into combat ... Dark hunters seem to prey on the weak as well.

Since I now have the speed to enter or escape combat at will ... I'll sometimes run along or around them waiting to see who engages them or what it takes to shake them off onto other parties.

I'd say they go after those armies of farmers and peasants to take slaves, How else can they afford all that armor? Doesn't look like they're doing trade runs

You have to find enemies who have Dark Knights as prisoners. After you kill them you can recruit the DK.

Let me clear something up, it was not a photoshop. It took a long time to amass such an army. What I do is wait for them to attack the peasants/farmers/refugees whatever, wait for at least one peasant to become unconscious, join the battle, shoot my allies - the peasants/farmers/refugees - with a bow/crossbow and then use some kind of war hammer thingie to take out all the dark knights, then I finish off the dark hunters ('cause nobody wants them anyway). When the battle is over I take prisoners but the peasants also take prisoners and if all the remaining peasants are unconscious you can free their slaves

This takes time, luck and most of all - Patience.
