Remember when Black Africans came to Anatolia in 1090 ad? Yeah, me neither.
Remember when its a fictional world? Cus i do. Have some imagination. Realism is nothing in a fantasy setting. Medieval times are focused more on social class than race any way

shocking I know... everything humans imagine, even that magic word fiction happens to be based on... REALITY

edit: repeating the word fiction means nothing

Yes, in Africa. This is in Europe, if you haven't noticed.
No this is Europe. And Asia. And Arabia. So why not africa which is literally connected to all of them? What is the harm in having new more diverse units with a cool athestic? What is the harm?

The gap which were occupied by the Sultanate? And it's not fantasy, it's fiction, which is based around reality.
Just add them as a DLC, there's already no place left on the map to add african factions unless you expand the map to below the Aserai Sultanate.

They weren't all existing at the exact same time, but they're close enough (tens of years) in the same period. And their cultures DID exist at the same time.

There's no Vikings in the game, the Sturgia is the fictional equivalent of real life Kievan Rus, which existed from 882 to 1054.

Firearms existed in 1000 A.D only in Eastern countries like China. In Europe, firearms only appeared in the late 14th century.

Lamellar armor is a real thing, it's from eastern world, which is represented by the Khanate in the game.

And there are no space on the map. If the game is based on Medieval Europe, African Factions should be below the Aserai Sultanate, which doesn't exist. The eastern side of the map, as I have already said, but you ignored for some reason, is leading toward Asia. Which would probably be used for in-game equivalent of the mongol invasion, which is around 1200 A.D.
Get the dates out of your head. This is not 1000 or even 1200. Plate did not exist in 1000. Neither did knights with lances. The longbow hadn't even been invented! The technology is the high middle ages 15th 16th century. The game is, lets put all these factions loosley based on reality and put them together with similar levels of technology. Historical accuracy goes out of the window at that point.

I showed you a screen shot of the south western map below the Aserai....

Indeed. It's taken them years just to deliver what we already have, and even then it's unfinished.
We really are taking this all for granted from the devs. If we compare bannerlord to any other game thats launched recently this game is a huge success because of the devs. There's what 40~ ish of them working on this? and look at what they made, massive corporations like EA etc make these games but they suck cause of the "business" mindset. It's awesome that Taleworlds is still around making video games and is making profit.

TL;DR
Taleworlds doesn't have a business mindset and there still making huge profits, bannerlord is best game to release in long time.

Man why is there so much conflict! I just wanted support for a new faction that isnt similar to preexisting ones

Their team is over a hundred strong at this point, and has been for some time. They ceased being a small studio years ago.

I'm not saying they're bad developers, far from it in fact, but I think we can both agree that they don't work particularly quickly. There's nothing wrong with that, but human lifespans are limited! ?

Sorry to burst your bubble but this late into development I highly doubt they'll add an entirely new faction to the game.
Haha I said that in a previous post in this thread bud but I cant blame you for not knowing I wouldn't want to read through all that until this point
And no not by taleworlds unless it's dlc but I don't doubt that it could be done by modders though and probably will no matter what the culture is

I realize the OP is bait, but I think an African-inspired faction would be super cool, and I don't get the people that say it wouldn't fit. Calradia is a fantasy construct, whatever the developers chose to put in the lore is the lore. I also think theres space on the current map, the Western part of the Aserai territory is empty, if you moved the Aserai a bit to the West there would be plenty of space for a new faction in the eastern part of the desert, sharing a border with the empire and all.

If i was around for warband i would have wanted an african faction in that game too. Also it inherently is a race based issue when the topic is the denial of African presence in history. Im not saying you are discriminatory but there definitely are some here.

You realize this is a fantasy game right? A fantasy game made by turkish developers? Youre doing alot of wanting but not alot of DOING. Maybe learn how to mod and create your own faction because this wont be a DLC and I doubt it will be a mod. African kingdoms were entirely irrelevant in this time frame on their connection to world history. Stop crying
