pipe bashing, anyone?
soo, i think i'll make a few different types of pipes (essencially 1h 2h and polearm), perhaps a gardening tool or two, some knives, and perhaps you'd like one of my katana models, (for that rich tribal leader) ?

May I suggest you make this a weapon? I always wanted to slice mutants with a STOP sign

well i said i knew that needed trimming down. the feeback i want is not as much as " this looks too dark" or "this looks fuzzy" it's more like what you guys think of the general idea. a "crossed" bones like simble of a skull with a machete and a revolver with a wasteland background.
that was a quick mock-up I admit, like i said before it needs remaking( ah the time..it flow between fingers like grains of sand...)

I really like that item list so far. I am pretty excited about things and can't wait til internet is up. I already have many ideas percolating and IMs have been fast and furious, though I don't like to spoil things too much on the forums. Suffice to say I think this mod is going to have legs, so to speak.

yeah it would be interesting.rage victims that don't have mutated hands, claws or the like should use anything they have at hand for weapons(e.g: a rage victim wearing the oufits of a "warrior" type and swingin a rifle around, holding it by the barrel[picturesque isn't it?]) we should not call the victims of the rage "ghouls" I think, since the name willl still be used by roborob in age of descent and since the rage is totally different than the "zombie" virus. suggestions?

murdlins? humm..it could be something along the lines of it. less scientifical and more "folk".
yeah, the whole mess should happen around late 70's or early 80's . we can use any type of pop culture from the 60's- early 80's period. hippies? punks? black power? there's a lot to draw from period american culture.

I guess we can call them ragers as a general term and have a few subgroups. I figure people will be pretty backwards after 120 years of chaos, so 'folky' is probably good. Murdlins might do ok for one of the subtypes.

"Fried Cuckroaches": Yes, they survived the apocalypse. for your pleasure! hummm! tastes like home! and brings you wonderfull childhood memories off growing up in the wastelands.
"Lizard Jerky": excellent for those roaming the wastes. the extra protein keeps you sharp
"Salty Rat": commonly found in towns
"Cactus soup": bitter-sweet
"Vulture Salami": noble meat
merchandise:
"Clear, Unpolluted Water" : very valuable merchandise. the rich pay high for not having toxins in their water.
"Methane and alcohol" : for the enrgy in the towns, refineries and factories.it has value
"Moonshine": there are a lot of bars around!
"Pre-war booze": valuable. the rich love it.
"Vynil Records":the wastelands is a musical place.
"Scrap Metal and assorted junk"
