Let's see, the fact that a) it's a linear shooter and b) it's Bioshock would seem to be good enough.

It's a linear clone shooter, therefore Arch hates it. That's my amendment of your statement.

Bioshock 1 was fun and this seems like a really cool atmosphere to play in.

It doesn't take away from what I said. Arch is not compatible with linear shooters.

Eh, true enough in this game's case I'll be playing more for atmosphere and story anyway though.

Well the game-play is fun if you feel like just shooting ****. At least the first was.

Except you can "Just shoot ****" in games far more interesting  . Mass Effect 2 had quite satisfying combat, for instance.

Yeah, but then you have the whole sense of morals and caring for teammates. Regardless Bioshock: Infinite will definitely be a game I rent, beat, then return.
