Between Siege rounds

When sieging towns/castles, often it takes multiple rounds to resolve, between rounds you cannot do the following unless you abandon the siege:

1.  From the map, look at the town/castle and see its overall numbers

2.  Upgrade troops

3.  Switch gear/weapons (and since there is no chest in sieges offense or defense, this is important)

I think we should be able to do all of these things.

I dont understand the first problem, since I've never had any need to look the map, but changing wep's is what I'd reallly like to do, because i usually want to train for example 1st polearms then 2h or 1h, or then just test my new weapons.

Well, that's the only way I can tell how many are in the garrison between rounds, and of what type.  Do you know another way?

Completely agree, especially about the troop upgrades.  I recently had a siege at a castle where you build a siege tower and I had to keep on deciding between upgrading troops and having to start building the tower over again or continue building.
