***BETS*** - Your predictions for group stage final rankings

I was thinking of organizing a betting competition, like it was setted up for ENPL.

Given that Nations Cup 2011 is not base upon direct elimination, but upon group stages, we will aim at determining the final results of first phase qualifications group.

This will work this way :
- Each person who wants to bet puts in this forum what he thinks will be the final ranking for the 3 qualification groups.
- When group stages will be completed, i will measure for each team the difference between 1)its ranking in the bet and 2)in the final ranking.
- The differences will be summed up to determine a total difference between the bet and the finak rankings in three groups.
- The guy with the least total difference will be our betting champion.
- for spicing a bit the game, the difference will be multiplied by 2 for the 4 qualified teams.

Please submit your bets in this thread i will manage the Excel file to record all bets and calculate scores.

At secong group stage we will do the same, unless people prefer betting on matches.

When in direct elimination phasis we will bet on matches score.

How do we bet on teams we've never seen/played against?

Look at their member lists, ask to watch the matches, some people know members of the other teams, some teams have played the other teams, look at the current positions ect... It's rather like gambling in a casino or betting on a horse race or dog race, except you don't actually lose or win anything and it can just make you feel better about yourself if you get it correct
