I play bannerlord as "endless mindless war sim". So i dont care about "depth" too much. I think alot of people play it like that too. Alot of people caring about "depth" too. To me as long game do not crash and ai become complete patato and start suicedes(start jumping down from wall/cliff) it is fine.May i ask why? I find that feature is one of few that adds deepth to the game.
30 minutes a day on here since 2005? That's sad.I know, right? It works out to something like 30 minutes a day. I admit, though, that I make the mistake of coming to a forum to read, so it takes a little more of my time.

I guess that's the 'best' communication we can receive on the state of the game then - "--you will receive these changes. It also won't be years before that happens." Not even confident/PR-safe enough to even factor that to 'months', or even 'quarters'.I understand that people are excited about these features and that is fundamentally a positive thing. Believe it or not, we are also excited to share our work with players.Still, there is no magic button that will create a sufficiently stable build - it simply takes time and effort. We could share the beta build later in development and communicate what we are working on later, but that would only create the illusion of you receiving it faster / having to wait less from the point of knowing about it (while in reality the reduced beta collaboration may well extend the overall time or lead to a less stable live release). Similarly, I assume everyone is agreed that the beta shouldnt make it to live with significant known stability or performance issues.
What is clear is that you will receive these changes. It also won't be years before that happens.
I am loss at words to be honest. I got the impression most tryed to avoid that. I find it boring to fight those armies of tier 1 troops. The same reason I don't play most *seasonal* games, the same reason I don't play much XCOM, etc... I dislike automatic timers that force my hand at gameplay on a time crunch. Understandable that a lot of games intend for such a mechanic, but a lot of those games I enjoy the gameplay, just not the handicap timer forcing my hand. Most folk call it a *doom-clock* these days. But even Sims over time allowed us to enable/disable our aging doom-clocks at will.May i ask why? I find that feature is one of few that adds deepth to the game.
Speak for yourself bruh, kingdom destruction is infinitely more important imo. Couldn’t give less of a deuce about disable aging.P.S. just a little note, food for thought. "Disable Aging" truly is the only thing a lot (not all, but alot) of us console players are impatient for.
If the goal was to assuage players, this was the second worst way to put it. “Less than 2 years from now”What is clear is that you will receive these changes. It also won't be years before that happens.
But it also means all nobles stays in game until their clan is destroyed via faction destruction. Worst case scenario all clans are left to the end.The same reason I don't play most *seasonal* games, the same reason I don't play much XCOM, etc... I enjoy this game. I played up to like age 45, and then realizing I spent most of my life on professions and such, I then learned that I have no way to stop it after another 15+ years I may die at any time of old age. So I started a new campaign and began searching high and low for the aging option.... then I learned the bad news for consoles, and quit the game entirely. Currently still waiting for that single aging option for the above reasons.
I never create my kingdom. I play as a mercenary and i change kingdom i working for. Usually i play for weakest kingdom. So i dont fight against armies of tier 1 troops.I am loss at words to be honest. I got the impression most tryed to avoid that. I find it boring to fight those armies of tier 1 troops. It must be related to how long one have played.
This I completely agree with, especially the point about the effort being veiled. What kind of stupid high-ground are you attempting here on this niche of a niche forum?

I still don't get why TW refuses to share the beta development updates (despite what reasons you provided). Because then we'll assume it'll therefore be imminent (as if that can't just be communicated in a sentence alongside the update)? That's the excuse? Or this 'reduced beta collaboration' as if then it's our fault waiting for pushing expectations for a game that's been 'officially' released a year ago to be finished.
All I (and many probably read into) see is that it is taking time, but don't see the effort; because that effort is being completely veiled via non-communication or very boiler-plate non-commitment.
The content of the current beta was released months ago; technically (as should be) it should just be about making it stable (blocker/crash/bugs) prior to transposing it to 'official'. How is even that taking months? We're not even talking about some upcoming beta '1.3' content at this point or whatever; if even getting the beta to a stable version takes this (as in still indeterminate ETA) long.
How dare you enjoy a community communications tool. D:<What kind of stupid high-ground are you attempting here on this niche of a niche forum?
preach. cant play without diplomacy. i was excited about mp initially but the sp needs more love first and foremostYeah I don't know why they focused so heavily on multiplayer and cross platform, its completely dead on console and like 90% of players only play single player, it just seems like such a waste of time which they could spend introducing new features, like a basic diplomacy system
Just 71 pages left of bugs dating 3 years back. Some are for sure duplicates but then there are all the "need more info" pages also.Any update on when 1.2 is going live?
You think way too highly of taleworlds if you think they're gonna tell us how much longer it will takeAny update on when 1.2 is going live?
I agree. Prosperity and village hearth boosting is one of my favorite activities in Bannerlord. My capital is Varcheg, and this town is really difficult to maintain at high prosperity. Hearth boost incentive would be great.I just want it to work in geometric progression.
Villages:
Vealos hearths 3524 (+ 0.96)
Orthra hearths 3593 (+ 0.96)
Samatha hearths 3752 (+ 0.96)
Myzea prosperity 5620.19
Food Stocks 217(-10)
Inside production +15
Prosperity - 140.5
Garisson -30
Hunting Rights +2
Vealos +18 What??? hearths 3524 and 18? must be at least 72
Orthra +18
Samatha +18
Building Bonus +18
Butter +5
Fish +9
Cheese +4
Meat +7
Grain +45
Beer +1
Expected Change -10.5
Spring 17.1134
TaleWorlds will finally fix this bug on hearths. Hearths don't work after 600. What's the point of developing hearths then?
Emperis Peasant:
I'm going to market too. What kind of products do you have?
- We have 36 Raw Silk
18 grain
2 butter
1 Cheese
Very little for Samatha with hearths 3752, very. Then let players develop production to increase production, this will add fun, interest and replayability to the game
