Based on my experience, Rambo is hated by not very experienced players who do not yet fully understand how to counter not only Rambo tactics, but also some other extraordinary tactics.
It's hated by all sorts of players, because running in solo to kill bots and not using your troops as anything but spare lives or engaging in tactics is not what a gamemode of tactics is about. Again, it is contrary to the point of the gamemode. It would make the game more interesting if ramboing was removed.
Is there any plan on working on armor and it's effectiveness?
+1 to this question.

I would love to see what TW's current plans for fixing armour are, so that the community can give feedback.

By the way, the arguments with which you are trying to substantiate this statement of yours ("because running in solo to kill bots and not using your troops as anything but spare lives or engaging in tactics is not what a gamemode of tactics is about") look approximately the same as an opinion most of the rookies or players, who haven't yet mastered the quality practices of management and interaction in captain mode... maybe some of them just need to be patient and work harder to comprehend this great, but undeniably difficult game?... or go back to Tetris?

It doesn't say so, it only mentions troop balancing and does not even acknowledge armor and damage mechanics as a problem in itself.
Besides, you can evaluate, declare you are happy with few tweaks and announce how all troop problems are solved.
Yes, they don´t understand that a broken system by itself can´t be balanced.

That´s why vanilla isn´t working but RBM is.

Maybe we can try the Tetris logic:
Captain mode => Fight with bots = Fun
Duel mode => Fight solo = Fun
Captain mode => Fight solo = No fun
Duel mode => Fight with bots = ...
I think one constructive approach would be to make a video and share it in MP section (here it is SP, just in case) to show us, the lazy players, how to deal with the people abusing of the "Rambo" tactic...
Just let us know when you are done, really looking forward to it...

1) I am not a supporter of easy ways - you should play more yourself and learn the game from experienced captains;
2) this is a general discussion, not SP, and I didn't start the Rambo conversation - deal with that, buddy;
3) yep-yep, I know that "everyone has their own logic" - but tbh it has a different name (and it's definitely not "logic").
 
(Just some other random idea, is to open beta servers every friday after there has been a larger patch to the game. This way you have scheduled testing. But that is a bit off-topic)

Yeah you are a true soldier, learning everything the hard way, because life is rude...

Indeed, my bad.

The logic here is that TW is trying to design a game mode with specific mechanics and "rules"... and since it is still WIP there is a bunch of flaws allowing player exploits...
Now you managed to counter this kind of behaviour, good for you... But it is ruining the casual players gaming experience.
That's why I'm suggesting you to share your know-how...
 
I do not know about you, but my performance in battles has become lower by 5-7 frames per second, after the 1.7.2 update in a system with a (1650 super) and i5 9400f processor, at ultra-high settings. returned version 1.7.1, where performance is better, stable 60 frames instead of 45-53
 
Will the new ranked queuing have separate ratings based on server region, or only game mode?

Hi all,
did someone of you also encountered problems after fighting in the hideout? First i was defeated early game (new campain with 1.7.2) and the game hung up after i clicked the "done" button. Ok, i thought maybe just one hideout or kind of. Then i tried several more times and it allways frozze after the click on "done".
Interestingly its not crashing, it just freezes. I can alt+tab out, everything else is fine. Just bannerlord got hung.
I also checked the game files over the steam game-menu, all fine there.
Any ideas?

edit: somehow my save game seems it was the problem. deleted it, startet new game, after a while he found a hideout and it was possible as usual,... hm,..

i had one soft lock in the game but i cant remember if it was a hideout or something else
but i did a few (15 or so ) hideouts over the map and they worked fine
that said
the campain AI is horrible in 1.7.2
endless back and forth between villages
ignoring armies they could easily defeat
otoh suicideing or not helping another army

Edit: what i found interresting was the western empire was sieging Quyaz with 1k army
there came a 500 man Aserei army and engaged , broke of after some time so the WE had to few to continue the siege
was this intended AI desicion or pure luck ?

We're a HUGE region with an incredible amount of players, but no one wants to play multiplayer because we dont have a server, and playing your game with 120 ping in NA and 250 in Europe is pain. I dont know why aren't you giving your players any feedback or answers on this, but we have paid for this game and we deserve a server.

So, those who have tried the campaign mode in 1.7.2 - have you noticed any remarkable changes with the release of 1.7.2? Is it even worth moving on from 1.7.0 right now?

Thx for sharing your experience. It seems when the game is running several times and sometimes i had tp alt+tab out, it starts that the faces only showing the lips, sometime after that hideout, i hat such a freeze. This time i alt*tabbed out and as i retunred it was at the "save and option screen",.....hmmm i have no clue
