Constructive criticism is allowed, so like posted above drop the attitude and your posts won't get you into trouble. We all want BL to become better and I know lot of criticism, frustration and anger in the past period is because the TW community is passionate and loves their M&B games and wants to see company improving them. But on the other hand we as a community also need to improve by lowering the general toxicity on this forum and in the game itself. To be quite honest with u, Idk if those rumors are false. Actually feels like the game is only being worked on three days a week. Also I wasn't "flamebating" or "trolling", I was just stating my opinion on how bad Bannerlord is, compared to the money it made. And don't play the "Covid-Uno-Reverse Card" cuz other development studios had to go through that as well, and their games are actually playable.
You @Erminas told me in PMs that criticism is allowed, so here you go:
1. The game is empty af. This is probably the obvious one, cuz if u know Warband SP, then you know that Lords actually have dialogs, which is not the case in this game. There is basically NOTHING to do when ur not at war. And even if you're at war, you probably won't lose a single battle, which kinda takes the fun out of it.
2. The grafics are already outdated. One of the biggest selling points of Bannerlord was the "Improved Grafics". And while they are in fact improved compared to Warband, they are still nowhere near great grafics. Plus the amount of grafical glitches and bugs in this game is absolutely mental.
3. The Multiplayer is an insult to Warband veterans and new players alike. I am gonna be honest with you, but the Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord Multiplayer is probably the worst Multiplayer I have seen in years... And I've played hundreds of games, and most of those had a multiplayer. The fact that the development studio of a major Franchise, which just took in somewhere between 200-250.000.000€, is not capable of fixing their own Multiplayer is beyond me. Even DayZ's Multiplayer performs better... which is saying alot.
4. The development team literally DOES NOT LISTEN to the community. I'll admit, since NIN3 took over the Art's and Balance thingy, it has gotten better, and his first update (1.6.4) is actually pretty good. But oh boy.. the last year of updates was kinda... pointless. It probably went kinda like this:
Community: "We want a balanced gaming environment"
TW: "Let's buff archers and cav, so the community DOES NOT have a balanced gaming enviroment"
Community: "We want connection issues fixed"
TW: "Let's fix the connection issues, but **** their ping up immediatly afterwards, because we are not able of getting a proper provider, even tho we just made a quarter of a billion dollars"
Community: "We want ranked matchmaking, so good players face good players, and beginners face beginners, leading to the game staying active, and avoiding mass ragequitting of newcommers"
TW: "How about we introduce some armors that people can customize their PERFECTLY FINE LOOKING characters with.. Oh and an Elephant DLC is needed as well!!!!"
Let's hope it gets better than THAT with @NIN3 going forward. (Luv you, my german gummi bear)
But oh well. Idk why I went into all the effort of writing this, cuz some cool TW admin will probably remove it anyways![]()

Just wondering what games do you mean? Skyrim Anniversary Edition? GTA Trilogy Remastered? Warcraft 3 Reforged? Diablo 2 Resurrected?cuz other development studios had to go through that as well, and their games are actually playable.
BannedWarband, DayZ, Arma 3, several Battlefields, several CoD's etc.Just wondering what games do you mean? Skyrim Anniversary Edition? GTA Trilogy Remastered? Warcraft 3 Reforged? Diablo 2 Resurrected?![]()
Exactly!"Drop the attitude" = "Don't express any emotions in your writing, unless it's emotions we approve."
Yeah, give me your Syphilis sky daddy, sometimes it's discolored but always streaming dots of... feature.Anyone else still got snow coming from the sky in a naughty fashion?
I think they're asking for games made during the armadilo-bat AIDS boogaloo era.Warband, DayZ, Arma 3, several Battlefields, several CoD's etc.

No, it's a joke. Now step away from the developers and keep your hands where he can see them. You are entitled to two warning shots, after that, it's forum martyrdom.Drop the attitude? You serious?
Atleast the forums are somewhat active right now. If the game were to be released in its current state, then you'll really see toxic behavior before the big drop in activity.Constructive criticism is allowed, so like posted above drop the attitude and your posts won't get you into trouble. We use a texture streaming technology/system that allows for better performance within the game. This packages resources in a specific way which causes even minor adjustments to lead to changes to larger packages. This package in its entirety is then redownloaded by Steam. That's why a patch can end up being larger despite having minor art-related changes.and 7,4 gb right ?
thanks a lot
I'm deleting the game and TW forever and good luck to you.
IMO TW have been overwhelmed by the feedback and their priorities are less ambitious than ours. They are focused on stabilising the game, eliminating crashes, debugging existing code, optimising the game for performance on low spec pcs and consoles, completing approved features and balancing existing gameplay. Having postponed their release date, I doubt TW want to add any new complicated features that may increase bugs, reduce performance, complicate game balance or destabilise BL prior to release. The forum currently has 17 pages of in progress crash reports, 17 pages of in progress graphics and performance issues and 5 pages in progress map related issues for single player, ignoring the additional workload of multiplayer and modding in progress tickets. Looks like quite a treadmill to me.About the only thing I agree with is that the TW team doesn't really listen to the community. The rest I totally disagree with. But listening to the community is a joke. There are so many issues I have brought up, sent data I collected ,given them save files and videos of problems and virtually nothing gets done. I could list tons of things that are just ignored and not for a little bit of time but for many months so on that issue I agree, but for the rest....I feel for a company of their size I think they are doing an ok/decent job on the game. I give them credit when they do good and blast them on my channel when they fail and will always be brutally honest whether they like it or not. I so far approve of what they are doing but just wish they would listen a bit more to the community. Trolls and flaming are always annoying as H*LL but I can understand after many months of BS happening it can get frustrating and I have dropped down to that level many times over the last year and at times not happy with myself for it. But frustration boils over when you love something and feel it is going in the wrong direction......whether your frustration is justified or not, it can happen
all in all I am content with the direction of Bannerlord, not happy just content, as I have begged TW to do, listen to the community more. I have offered tons and I mean tons of suggestions and for the most part all I hear is, "we will look into it" and nothing is ever done. caravans, workshops, sliders, finishing perks, more cultural options, I can go on and on.
Ok off my soap box again. I appreciate you TW devs, but please listen to ideas from the community more and take it a bit more seriously
Not all resolved issues are equally created. For comparison there are 262 pages of resolved issues.
dead on, I have been testing workshop production and caravans since 1.5.6 and I send the data to TW in the hopes things will get adjusted and in the entire 1.6 branch I can say that only i change to caravans were done and the only change to workshops were the we'll call it wool weavery rebalance. What takes 3 months to adjust some workshops like tanneries or give sturgia some help since their shops are horrible. All you get is we are looking into it and months later...we are looking into it #frustratingNo feasts then. ?

"Still have problems after more than a year? We'll take that as a 'no', closed."
Moreover, there's no reason to justify TW's handling of suggestions if you don't have a good overview of their plans and resources. I wish they would state they have too few people to do more work (or whatever is the problem), but that's not what they want to communicate - their development process is completely opaque and we are reduced to pure speculation.
Even if you are the most considerate TW fan, you can't know how much is too much to ask and what is the real likelihood someone will really "look into it".
You can say this about most valid feedback/suggestions posts/threads here. We get the occasionally "we are looking into it" and never hear about it ever again.Sad but that´s how it is and how it was since the beginning of the EA release.dead on, I have been testing workshop production and caravans since 1.5.6 and I send the data to TW in the hopes things will get adjusted and in the entire 1.6 branch I can say that only i change to caravans were done and the only change to workshops were the we'll call it wool weavery rebalance.
